I watched Wrexham beat Sheff Utd the other night and thought they were terrific; full of purpose, energy and attitude.

If they turn up like that, we're in for a hard game.

Us, on the other hand, look knackered, can't score for toffee, and have minimal options to rotate.

Our biggest chance I feel is to play as the away side; let they come at us and try and snatch something.

They're in good form and have a better squad than us. Amazing what investment can do.

Fresh off the back of two very impressive wins against an upwardly mobile Sheffield United, coming from 3-1 down to win 5-3, and against hard to beat Preston, I can't see any more than 1 point at best for Rovers. The squad is in a shocking state and that's not down to a freak injury list but corner and cost cutting coming back to haunt us.

We've got three goals still saved up his sleeve from his incorrect 0-3 prediction last night so add that to the 2-0 prediction for this one, that means it's going to be 5-0 to the Lillywhites on New Year's Day!

the odds  of henrikson scoring are about as long as me beating luke littler at darts,tired legs and jst generally us being not very good will see wrexham triumph

I can't understand why Ismael didnt give Doherty a try last night, he got rave reviews when we signed him from an Irish club. He couldn't have done worse than the strikeforce last night. I'm die hard Rovers 2-0 Rovers

We should have beaten them at their place quite comfortably. Nothing to fear in their lineup even though they have spent quite a lot.

Now we have the home hoodoo off our back I think we'll win this one - 3-1 Rovers

We can't attack, so if we score it will be lucky at best. They will almost definitely throw the kitchen sink at us knowing how weak we are at yhe end of games.

There are some obvious indicators that suggest Rovers will struggle to get anything from Thursday's game.

1) It's a home game, which despite having laid the hoodoo to rest, still doesn't seem to motivate the players much

2) Rovers are struggling to score goals at the moment, and even though chances are being made our makeshift strikeforce appears more 'deer in the headlights' than 'lion on the Savanah'. Wrexham have battering rams at the ready in contrast.

3) Wrexham are a club on the up-swing. Rovers are a club on the down-swing. History and pedigree count for sod all on the day, especially when your team is a ragbag of jellyjobs and misfits thrown together by a trainee alchemist suffering from delusions of grandeur.

4) Form places us on different trajectories too, with Wrexham on a mini run whilst Rovers are the steady eddie - having said that, their points tally from the last 6 games is only one better than ours (8 vs 7)

5) Their fans are 'living the dream' with big money backers and a clear strategy to move onwards and upwards. Our fans are enduring a 'living nightmare' with billy big balls backers, a back of fag packet plan, and a bunch of scoundrels and chancers driving the club incrementally towards oblivion - NOTHING about Rovers currently suggests any ambition beyond keeping the fucking lights on. No doubt the Hollywood stars down the A55 piss themselves laughing at the contrast in how the clubs are run.
