not sure about that,he`s been looking frustrated on the touchline in the last couple of weeks,he certainly is`nt acting like mowbray.i.e sat down looking at his bank balance

Well, we'll see if he walks.

I'd say not a chance. He'll still be here if (when) he takes us down.

Pratt incredibly lucky not to concede a penalty there.

Don't suppose anyone will mention that though.

Several people had already mentioned it. Clear penalty. Ref was useless all game.

Sure am. Nothing ill-mannered about me today, minus this horrible cough I've got. Just saying, you can't bleat about people giving you stick for it, then bring him up yourself unprovoked.

Sorry to hear about the cough.

Give over, the squad isn't great but there are plenty of managers out there who could have got more points out of the games we've had in that run, which includes Wenesday, Oxford, Portsmouth and Charlton.

One win against almost the entire bottom half ffs.

I think it's tempting to believe that because then a change of manager is an easy fix but in my view this is the worst Blackburn Rovers squad I have ever seen and I don't know how we can expect anything more than *possibly* escaping relegation. That's as good as it gets which is so sad.

The effort is still there from all rhe players which suggests to me they have faith in the manager, that's what I think will get us 20th.

Unfortunately Powell, Dlamini and Doherty are all miles off it physically.

Even more unfortunately De Neve, Henriksson and Gardner-Hickman are miles off it ability wise.

The rest are mostly bog standard at best. The lack of quality in our squad is criminal.

Must admit I have found the Gardner-Hickman loan one of the more baffling pieces of business in the last 12 months. The lad is shite.

Two injury ravaged teams on a dreadful pitch in dreadful conditions serve up a match that wouldn't have looked out of place at pleasington.

A really depressing waste of an afternoon watching that rubbish.

Just a massive lack of quality throughout the team. Henriksson is an absolute waste of space, he doesn't offer us a single thing. De Neve again is another competition winner.

The young attacking players in Dlamini, Powell and Doherty are absolutely nowhere near the standard to be playing at this level, theyve no business being near it and probably wouldnt get close to a functional side in League 2. Not their fault, we badly need to bring in numerous attacking players, we did before this game, we still do and because of Venkys im pretty sure we wont before next weekend.

Hull were awful too and didnt look like they could be arsed but our defenders did show up well. Cashin, O'Riordan and Atcheson all did their job, they all had a wobbly moment or two but overall they were all solid. Toth also commands his box and provides a much stronger presence in goal, has to stay in.

Thought he was barely average at first but coming round to your point of view.

Talk of making him permanent is barmy. If it does happen it proves that business at the Club takes place to line certain people's pockets rather than on the basis of ability or how they've actually performed.

tgh is the type of player you bring on for 15 mins to see the game out,he`s not good enough to make an impact,he`d never start in a decent side, hence birmingham farmed him out to us

Is he prepared to pay his exit fee? I doubt it. Is anyone else likely to pay it for him - maybe a Rovers fan who has won the lottery otherwise don't hold your breath...

No, sorry.

There are a huge amount of managers who would have managed more than one win in the 11 We've just played. More managers than I can count or name.

Yes the squad is shit, but so is he.

Can't overemphasise how much I agree with this.

He doesnt get anywhere near enough flak for what a poor manager he is.

Spot on a total lack of talent throughout the squad.

Ismael is here to make certain we go down..

I’ve just seen someone on twitter blaming Ben Benson. We do have some morons supporting us, I need to get rid of twitter and book myself into therapy.

A bit a strain to take positives from that one, but I will say:

- Toth right back to his excellent form pre-injury.

- O'Riordan looked solid. Atcheson showing why he's gotten some hype. Overall, a decent defensive display at least...

- Montgomery looked really composed in midfield. Clearly miscast as a makeshift RB earlier this year. Slowly making a believer of me.

- Pickering/Ribeiro may not be natural LWBs, but they've got to be ahead of De Neve...

I'm not going to get too down on an 18 year old but hard to see what about Dlamini caught VI's eye... As I posted earlier, I was curious about Doherty. Showed some attacking intent but just doesn't seem to have 'it'. Only 19 but he is turning 20 in a couple months... hope the PK recovered a bit of confidence.

I have only seen a bit of the game today , it was shocking !

Reminded me of the Hull game away between Xmas & New Year in 1986 .

0-0 on a freezing cold afternoon, McKinnon played his only game .

Saxton was sacked a couple of days later !

Ah yes, the goalkeeping coach is obviously at fault for a game in which we didn't concede for 120 minutes

Chuckle brothers on Roverst TV talking about penalties as a 'lottery' and just about 'luck'

This one does my head in. I watching on TNT and their commentator also trotted out the old 'lottery of penalities' cliche.

Pentalties are a technical skill and there's also a big mental element too. Not a lottery in any way.
