It’s going to be another defeat, Im sure of that.

Under normal circumstances, the upside would be the pathetic record of the manager, would mean at least that would be the end, but of course, as we all know, that will not be the case.

Rovers will not score, so it’s just a matter of how many we lose by for me.

Not sure I can ever remember us being so bad that:

We aren't necessarily wondering if we'll win

We aren't necessarily wondering if we'll score

but

We're wondering if we'll register an effort on target.

So in the pre-match interview with the club, Ismael has spent a good 8mins, of a 16mins interview, complaining about refereeing decisions and getting VAR in the championship.

Although his overall point isn't far of the mark, he really will not take any responsibility for the mess we are in.

It's always someone else's fault.

Not shooting the messenger if we'd had VAR in the Championship on Saturday we'd have probably have pulled it back to 2-1 from the penalty spot and might have been playing for a period against ten after the elbow on Cantwell.

Hardly a given we'd have got anything out of the game seeing as we didnt even register a shot on target in the 90 mins otherwise.

He's really floundering isnt he? No idea at all how to turn it round. Just blame bad luck/officials etc.

Then Ipswich would have also got one with the absolute stonewaller by cashin (i think)

They should have been given a penalty, but if the ref did his job at the other end, that one wouldn't have happened.

If we HAVE to play Cashin(to avoid a financial penalty)why not play him in "defensive midfield" in front of a back 3? Sort of a 3-1-4-2 formation. With nine, yes nine central defenders we have serious defensive overload(Litherland,Carter & Wharton all injured plus the 6 of Atcheson, Miller, McLoughlin, O`Riordan, Pratt & Cashin) so can`t use half the squad otherwise!

Perhaps we asked/begged Brighton for a loan player dirt cheap, but forgot to mention it should be a striker/winger and asked for a defender instead?

Head coaches don't have the gumption for that kind of old school manager think.

They have a formation blueprint and stat sheet for themselves and the opposition from their team of ipad men and they follow that.

their idea of thinking out the box is play a new young midfielder up front because his running stats are good and if he gets Championship mins his value will increase.

If he does well there and scores or assists it'll go up even further.

Rinse and repeat for LWB, RWB etc, that's all that matters.

Cashin looked completely immobile and incapable of playing in that role imo. Shocked that we’ve signed another slow defender.

Reminiscent in looks of a shorter Grant Hanley and play when Hanley at his worse.  At his best, Hanley 10 times the player Cashin is.

It’ll be heartening to us all when we’re relegated that we would have won the ‘hard done by’ league.

Only difference imo was Hanley was 6' plus but otherwise he was brainless as well and a liability at times but at least he was a tough lump with presence.

Jorgenson won't start because he doesn't know the system. Mainly because he is a striker and the rest of the team don't know how to pass to one of those

Another long trip and another ground on which results have been mixed to say the least.  Once again, travelling down in hope of a point and I think there is more chance of that here than at Ipswich.  As for team selection - that's anyone's guess.  However, I think the experience of Pickering and Ribeiro ought to be used more at the moment.  Would be happy to see Pratt back in the team but I suspect Cashin plays because of the loan terms.

Val says it's because we're a possession based team. Passing it forward risks losing possession, and we can't have that as they can't put "kept more possession" in the data on the end of year Powerpoint.

Agree, Hanley was brainless at times.

However, as a centre half he is 3 to 4 inches taller than Cashin, has amassed some 400 senior league appearances with a fair old few in the PL and represented his country for getting on 70 occasions.  IMO, there is a big, big difference between the 2 players and I would wager Cashin will get nowhere near replicating Hanley's career/achievements.

Seems he made his name at Derby with his best form in league 1 where you can get away with certain flaws and still look good.

Got the big move but was out of his depth at Brighton and went downhill from there.

That's why he's here being paid mostly by his own club to resurrect his  career  so they can get a few quid back for him. If he can settle down he might do ok but it doesn't help playing with a B side Christian Daily like McClaughlin.

Lads like Cashin need a Hyam or a Batth next to them.

And a lot quicker than Cashin.

He’ll replace Henriksson who does know the system but who’s a reserve player playing out of position.

Sorry but no he moved like an Oil tanker although better awareness but this lad is short on games whilst Hanley was a regular here at the same age.

These are the risks to be expected with these kind of loans but as always the idiots inside Ewood are only looking at the money side of it.

Raining all day and a Yellow warning for wind in south west Wales tomorrow. I'm having visions of the miserable midweek display at Ashton Gate in the pissing rain a couple of years ago 🙃 Again I was only there as I'd never been!

Why have we bought Jorgonnson half way through the season if the player is not fit and ready to start. It happens all the time. Part of the shambles, we need a striker on the pitch!

Then like Dennis they get hurt and can’t play until the final match
