If anybody in the management team or coaching team is confident of staying up, I call them a liar. I don't believe we have enough quality, fit and up for the fight players, and I 100% don't believe the coaching team can change anything.

I think we are the worst team in the Division, if Sheffield Wednesday had not got a points deduction, they would be above us ..

Not easy starting games in minus points ...

‘I am not worried’.

With two and a half years left on his contract I don't suppose he is. He knows Venkys won't want to pay the compensation but, if they do, he's laughing all the way to the bank.

I posted the odds on a Swansea win, before the game and found them incredibly generous.

I know your shouldn’t back against your own team, but it doesn’t feel like my team anymore.

Watford are 2/1 by the way.

Won 325 quid tonight and couldn't not have Swansea in the acca alongside Derby and Norwich.

McLoughlin not captain material for me, neither is Cantwell.

Are we zonal marking on defensive set pieces? Never works.

You are 100% right.

If an offer came in for Cantwell, he should be sold. No place for a show pony when you are in a relegation scrap. Has had a few good games early on and that’s it.

Tronstad as captain for me. He should have taken over from Travis, but imagine Gestede blocked it because of his contract.

I don’t think Val will be sacked before Saturday. If you run the club you don’t want a new manager to start with a fan boycott, even a caretaker.

Not even if it makes you look like doing what 'the fans' want and showing that you 'care' for the club.

No better way of switching things around so you can blame the fans for not supporting the new manager.

On ismael i was somewhat sympathetic that he could only play the cards he has. But since Alebiouso and Hedges becoming unavailable his desire to continue with 352 has been really bizarre, even more so when Gudjonsen got injured.

We just dont have the available players, but he persists.

I suspect he doesn't trust having only two centre backs because what's available to him is either shite(Mcloughlin/Cashin) or very inexperienced.

Rovers players seemed happy for the final whistle..maybe Ismael gets the pot. Some apathy from that bench tells me something.

Looking at that bench, I've seen more smiles at a funeral.

Toth Alebiosu Wharton Tronstad Jorgensen and Gudjohnsen can stay. The rest can go. Worst squad we've had for 50 years

It's on a par with the squad that Gordon Lee inherited in 1974.

Pathetic, pitiful display yet again.

Tronstad was the only player for us that resembled a Championship standard player.

Nice to see Jorgensen score but I didnt see the quick forward that was suggested. Very slow and very weak, constantly losing the ball.

Baradji an absolute liability again, constantly losing the ball and not someone you want in the trenches with you, bone idle. Ohashi again nowhere near good enough. O'Riordan miles away from the standard. Gardner Hickman and McLoughlin again showed why they had become surplus to requirements at previous clubs.

Powell with a nice assist but physically isnt ready to compete with Championship players. Doherty anonymous. Not fair to keep throwing all of these kids together.

That's a fair summary.

Certainly looked like that didn't it. I turned it back on just to see reactions. That was just cold walking away so much that he had to be chased and pulled on the arm to shake hands by the swans manager. Looked like that was it

Hope so but I can't see him going voluntarily to forgo such a big pay-off.

Strange claim. Without the deduction Sheff W would have 11 points. We have 28.

Well - Sir Roger was still there and he'd probably be worth more than the entire squad put together in today's money.

Faz also.

Did Lee sell Tony Field or was he long gone before Lee arrived?

If only we had 3 players like those now.

Not sure when Field left , wasn't Dinnis caretaker for a while ?

Don Martin was still there , Metcalfe  and Parkes too..

5 vastly superior players to what we have today ..

Recall Gordon Lee being appointed around Christmas 1973 (?) and he sold Tony Field to SU just before deadline day in March 1974 - think the fee was circa £90k.

Thought it was £75k but thanks for the time line. Could it have been £90k with Terry Garbutt chucked in?

That would have been an extremely dark day in my young life.

What's the saying - It's always darkest before the dawn?

True in 1974, but now we don't have a Gordon Lee, we have the current twonk and I can't see any signs of a dawn whatsoever.

I’d get Gary Rowett in right now for our relegation fight

I'd get Rodney Trotter in just to show Val what to do
