I guess you need to look at what he’s done in France and Belgium rather than judging him on just Southampton.

Had a cracking run at Reims then flopped at Lens

If it's the one Ive seen it's really good, fascinating stuff, particularly the early footage from Scotland but as you would expect we're relegated to an honourable foot note in the closing titles!

😂

Fill the manager's vacancy and a squad place in midfield .

Double bubble.

Anyone have facial recognition software?

Reading fans really don't rate Leam Richardson. Terrible manager.

His results at Reading have been very good in his short time there. Won 7 of 14 and lost only 3.

He certainly shouldnt be under consideration here. But you seem to be good at highlighting by far the best part of a managers career (in this case a very small part) as proof that they arent good overall.

Was that image from tonight?

If so, you'd expect the floodies being on is linked.

Intriguing...

Herald Goulon!

According to Instagram he's now in Dubai training (6 months of training) to become a boxer.

The decision making that comes with being punched in the head for a retirement job may be just the criteria Gestede et al are looking for

Struggling to find myself caring about this. Ismael absolutely needed to go but I have zero faith that the replacement will be any kind of upgrade. We all know what we need but I can guarantee their criteria is completely different.

We've been bin-dipping on players and we'll be bin-dipping on the manager. Then it will be between us and West Brom for who can get away with cheap-skating for at least this season.

Age old tactic. Float around the worst possible fit as a candidate then any hopeless case appointed looks good by comparison.  Short odds on Coleman? Really? What's Mick McCarthy doing these days? We'll end up with either some poor sap wannabe, a complete unknown from League Z in Luxembourg or a guy whose been out of work for a decade. The days of Hughes, Souness, Allardyce and Kenny are so far behind us it's untrue. Barrel meet Scraper, Scraper this is Barrel.
