Tony Mowbray Discussion

Talking of horrific runs..Dalglish's 6 match losing streak takes some beating....just saying lol -
Sorry, it may not be much use in Sweden, but this from Lancs Live... The game will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Main Event, with coverage scheduled to start at 7:00pm. Alternatively, you can purchase a match pass from iFollow for £10. On iFollow commentary duty for Rovers will be Neil Yardley and Warren Lucy. You can also listen to live coverage of the game on BBC Radio Lancashire.

I have this recurring picture. Blue and white halves, blue shorts, snow on pitch, orange ball...Turf Moor...Stuart Metcalfe spraying the ball imperiously...Waggy rounding the keeper, counting to a hundred (Bastard, just put it in!) before putting the ball into the empty net....So always blue shorts for me!

I'm with Mick McCarthy..."Twatter"...

Didn't they have two shops? -
Very pleased with TK. And not before time. I think it has been a bit of a disgrace to have gone so long without a proper, reliable keeper. We seem to have had a succession, who were prone to soul-destroying errors...and this more or less coincides with the arrival of.......Never mind that. TK looks the real deal.

The joke is one thing, but leaving me with it for 3 hours! Dye his hair ginger...then...er..shave it off..

So relieved! Hell to pay, when my youngest gets in. He swore to me that he had heard on the radio that BB was out for the season. Funny joke....Bastard!

If we don't get promoted, we will be raided big time....

Yes, I wouldn't be surprised, if someone was making that sort of calculation. A poor festive season and they might well be inclined to accept a good offer. I suddenly remembered Rovers being 2nd in the table in December '69. Then Everton came calling!

Yeah, that's what I always said....Then I went to watch Rovers at Stockport with Souness. I was actually surprised how much I missed the comfort. I'd got too used to premiership, Ewood luxury. On the other hand, Brentford seemed ok, although the view wasn't the best.... But I do love seeing the celebrating masses behind the goals, posted on this very thread.... -

Anyone else experienced problems with ifollow and Wifi? Last night I endured the treble frustration whammy of constant freeze, ridiculous colour clash and poor performance....brightened up, of course, by last-minute winner...

Rovers v Barnsley. Sat 28 Nov 3pm

Yes, it is a really irritating fallacy and I foolishly took this up on a Rovers facebook page. In my sad determination to lay this "natural level" ghost, I actually went and looked it up. Several top 5 finishes in there- after suffering disappointments in our bids for automatic promotion... -

Greatness?...Straw man. How many times have we finished in the top 5 of the second tier, since 2012. How many times have we been in the top 3 at Christmas? Then go and compare that with the late 70's and 80's. We can do much better.... with the right stewardship. The trouble is that the longer we are not engaged at the business end of the table, the less interest is maintained.....
