  1. He's a nasty so and so. Definitely not Mowbray's type, but probably just the type we could do with.
  2. Well we need defenders in ASAP, so I hope that's not our strategy as it's going to be at least 18 years before they are ready to play.
  3. Are we still on about the naughty little blonde here?
  4. Yes but they sold Maupay for £20m after buying him for £1.6m. Also sold John Egan for £4m, Chris Mepham for £12m, Nico Yennaris for £4.9m, Jota for £6m, Scott Hogan for £9m, Andre Gray for £9m - so they have a negative net spend over the years.
  5. It's the second time they've posted that it's Grant on this thread. Maybe it's not just a guess.
  6. It's an American microblogging and social networking service he uses on which he posts and interacts with messages known as "tweets". Registered users can post, like, and retweet tweets, but unregistered users can only read them.
  7. Good old Todd Kane. I am friends with a bloke who used to clean his windows on Buckshaw Village. Todd would get a lift with Jason Lowe to games as he lived on there as well. My mate went to collect his money one Saturday and Todd's mum opened the door and let him in. Whilst he was there, Todd rang his mum to come and pick him up as he wasn't playing and Jason was. The modern footballer.
  8. https://www.derbytelegraph.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/derby-county-transfer-news-jozwiak-4471863 A post on social media yesterday from a reporter/commentator for Canal+Sport media outlet claimed the 22-year-old was probably playing his last game for Lech Poznan before heading to Derby. The tweet read: "This is probably Kamil Jozwiak's farewell match before his transfer to Derby County." DerbyshireLive checked it out and reported late last night that there is no suggestion Jozwiak is on his way to Derby.
  9. Can the mods put up a 'poll' to see who we think the new signing is?
  10. "Why sign Zidane when we've got Tim Sherwood" "Why sign a winger when we've got strikers that can be shoved on the wing"
  11. Because it mentioned Westlife, who a lot of people aren't 'keen' on, which just reminds people of a bald Scottish guy.
  12. Maybe it's Stevie Wonder - and he's going to be our back up keeper? Still, a step up from Walton at least.
  13. Exactly this. His agent isn't doing his job if he isn't getting as much interest as possible to drive his salary up. You'd expect the administrator would be keen to alert as many clubs as possible as well.
  14. I wouldn't pay any attention to the values on Transfermrkt. I'm sure they've got Lenihan as being worth 1.4m and Armstrong well under 4m.
  15. Not in defence. Heard he's leaky at the back these days after all those years with Hayley.
  16. Alarming statistic that. 13 of the clubs spending more than 100% of their revenue on wages as well. Hull broke even, Rotherham made a slight profit and every one else made a loss. Not exactly run like businesses these clubs. They lost £650m between them!!
  17. I wouldn't describe Warburton as below average. He's got a career win percentage of 51% as a manager (Mowbray is 42% for comparison). Before you start saying that part of that shouldn't count as he was at Rangers, well Mowbray was at Celtic as well. Mark Hughes has a career win percentage of 38% (he was 43.6% at Rovers and did a good job). 51% win percentage is pretty good.
