  1. We have a Sonos sound bar for the TV, two speakers in other rooms and a new Sonos Move which as it's name implies can be used remotely from its base. So far it hasn't moved out of the dining room but it will come into it's own in the garden as soon as the weather improves. As for what I'm listening to, it's mostly Radio 4 during the day but my Sonos app tells me that the music I have listened to in the last few weeks has been Laura Marling, Robert Plant & Alison Krauss, Matt Berninger, Arlo Parks, London Grammar and Belle & Sebastian.
  2. Houses on the Northcote Park development on the A59 opposite Northcote and very close to Brockhall were on from £625K. There's one left at £850K.
  3. Barrow have parted company with their second manager of the season as Michael Jolley has left. An interesting twist on normal reasons in that Barrow say that they and Jolley "have differing visions for how the team should play, which has led to this change being made". Rob Kelly is back in temporary charge.
  4. Coventry's second goal was worse for Raya. Tried to play out when completely closed down and Coventry snatched it and four passes later it was in the net. Brentford never looked like scoring and that's 3 defeats in a row for them after a long unbeaten run.
  5. It's here Chaddy (and everyone else) - https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2021/february/watch-rovers-under-23s-v-west-ham-united-under-23s-live/ it's single camera coverage but free.
  6. Hayden Cater appears to be doing well at Burton. Rock bottom of league 1 but they have won 3 of the last 4 since he went there with three clean sheets and he’s got a goal.
  7. It looks like they have stuck to their original plan. It was always planned that Jimmy would sit this one out and Buttler would fly home for a rerst before the one dayers. I don't think Jimmy's age has anything to do with it as everyone keeps saying that he is as fit as he's ever been. I just think they want to keep everyone fit. A full 5 dayer in Chennai must be very draining - I've been and know how hot it gets.
  8. I’m pretty sure Ched Evans will start up front for them. He started on Saturday and Neill has been singing his praises since.
  9. Results in Ayala's 9 games - 2 wins, 3 draws and 4 defeats. 2 of those defeats were against Watford and Norwich though.
  10. In other A league news I see Matt Derbyshire scored for Macarthur FC yesterday.
  11. Yes. I wasn't saying that they were a better team, just that it's more than half a new team we will be playing. For what it's worth it sounds like they played OK on Saturday but gave away a soft own goal in the first minute and then missed their chances.
  12. What is certain is that this will be a very different North End team than the one we played in November. They made 8 signings in the transfer window and last Saturday 6 of them started the game with another coming on as a sub.
  13. It took a little while to process the payment. The picture is fine now but I have no sound.
  14. It's on ManuTV but you will have to pay for it.
  15. But your season ticket wouldn't have given you access to those games you have paid for. In a normal season you wouldn't have shelled out the £100 but then you wouldn't have seen the games (not legally anyway). If you buy a ticket from Rovers for an away game like tomorrow the club make money for it just the same as an individual match pass for a home game i.e £8.33 (£10 less VAT).
  16. The BBC Cricket Social online is a decent substitute and worlds better than TalkSport.
  17. It was arbitro. The report reminded me of it - he jumped out of the way of a lunge by a Wigan player and got a second yellow for simulation.
  18. I looked back at the record of the game on the Rovers website to make sure I had the facts right. The report said that as a result we ended up with 9 men on the pitch. It might well be that he stayed on for a while and exacerbated the injury but by the end he was off.
  19. A self-inflicted injury that was and one of the most stupid I've seen in the last few years. It was in the last few minutes at Wigan in the League 1 season. Bennett had been sent off and it was 0-0 so we were trying to see the game out. Chapman had the ball by our left wing corner flag and tried to beat a Wigan player instead of just thumping it away. He lost the ball and dived into the Wigan player to get it back,. A foul to Wigan and he had to go off leaving us with 9 men for the last few minutes. He then missed the rest of that season.
  20. Steve Waggott told us in confidence at the last Fans Forum on 18/1 and since then Mowbray and the Sky commentator have both mentioned it.
