  1. Past hour
  2. At the moment he looks like a Buckley Mk2 needing a little too much time on the ball before progressing play but I agree that there is a player in there if he adapts to a quicker game pace in the regular congested midfield battleground. Not sure that our midfield would be sufficiently robust for the typical Championship midfield battles with both Tavares and Cantwell in the starting eleven.
  3. Well at least I've stuck my original opinion which was same when it was abandoned Disagree here. We won't agree so we leave it there. Mercer, dont get me any advise. I will have my opinion and make own decisions. Don't need lectures from yourself thanks. Enjoy your day Mercer 👍
  4. Lets hope ranges go for lampard before this fixture... If i had to pick a team: Toth Alebiousu mcloughlin wharton Hedges Miroshita tron hinckman De neve cantwell Gueye Play percentages and for 2nd balls. Make it ugly. I dont like any of our strikers, but we lack any height in midfield or up top. Or put 2 strikers up there and go 352 and give it a go. Does feel like we have a back 3 capable and we do have wingbacks. toth Miller Mcloughlin wharton alebiousu tron hinckman de neve cantwell yuki Andri
  5. I don't mind where he goes so long as he's happy and finishes his career with us. I hope we still have a club by then in a Division that isn't impractical.
  6. And the Derby fans will need to be out of the way to allow for the thousands of fans coming up from Eton. I've heard Boris Johnson and Jacob Rees Mogg are amongst the Eton legends taking part.
  7. It's a personal view - in my eyes it is not a 100% certainty that Rovers will not suffer a points deduction this season. You are all over the place - firstly you say it's a prediction which it isn't and then you say 'we've seen plenty of these comments previously' when it's the first time I've mentioned a points reduction against the Rovers. Get a grip of yourself. I think you are one of the very few who don't agree with the ref's decision - boot on the other foot and Rovers losing, you would have been saying it was the only decision the ref could make! There was no bigger supporter than Jack Walker and even he didn't expect Rovers to win every game. It is not embarrassing as a fan if you think Rovers will get relegated - I think the only embarrassment sits with our owners and executive management who have allowed this situation to arise. A I have said to you before, take your head out of the sand, smell the coffee and stop trying to defend the indefensible where Rovers are concerned - my God, bet Pasha and Gestede would like all fans to be like you and that is not a compliment!!!!!
  8. Appointing Gerrard will be hard given the tax problems he will have if he returns to the UK this tax year given the amount of money he is earning in the middle east Barry Ferguson would be the right appointment
  9. Martin will be back, clubs will still buy the hype.
  10. re: Tuchel, it's frustrating, but he picked him last time and he withdrew with an injury. I suspect this time, it's a case of player/club asking not to pick him, so he can recover fully with a break. I'd be amazed if he didn't pick Wharton in the team, let alone the squad once we he's fully fit.
  11. Today
  12. Feelings of our last game at sheff United. Biggish occasion. Going for an optimistic draw
  13. Why is it ‘embarrassing’ to think we’ll go down?
  14. It was obvious looking at him in the u21s he was special and only a matter of time before he got his chance in the 1st team. Had that great debut at Blackpool with Don Goodman singing his praises, but did occasionally get caught in possession due to the difference in speed at 1st team football in a few games. However, he soon learned, and would zip the ball off quicker and so rarely now gets caught out. Just a top top player that I love watching, and not just because of his Rovers roots
  15. You dont have to predict that theyll win every game to be a supporter. Thinking that they might struggle in or not win a game doesnt make you any less of a supporter.
  16. They can get changed on the car park, they need to make sure they’ve paid though…
  17. We seen plenty of these comments from you previously I don't agree with the Ref decision. Why would I back against my own club I support through the good and bad times? My support dont waive at all
  18. Tavares looks like a tidy player on the ball but he's clearly used to a different pace. He's far too nonchalant and looks to be a victim of the youth academies mentality of "not worrying if you lose it when trying to play the right way" That luxury ends in senior football. Perhaps he needs reminding of it. There's a time and a place to be cute; there's a time and a place to play tight and safe. If Tavares can master that, then there's a decent player in there
  19. Believe by our standards we spent 'decent' money on Tavares. So far proving to be what most expected, crap. This will not go down well with our resident dictators. Expect Gestede is fuming and currently thinking up an excuse/blaming the Telegraph and fans for being mean.
  20. I like Ismael’s attitude there. At the least he tells it like it is.
  21. Wait until Rudy and Suhail have a word.....
  22. The Specials - Ghost Town
  23. This tells me that Val isn't completely stupid then. I genuinely thought that Sid would have been in the side regardless to hopefully develop him and move him on.
  24. The other issue with this is logistics. When the Derby game hits full time you can bet on it taking a good 15 minutes for the pitch to clear, all the staff to get out of the way, media/Sky gang out. Then all the Rovers and Derby players will need their post-match discussion, shower and change before leaving the stadium. Are they going to be doing all that whilst there's another game taking place outside? Where are the 'legends' and Old Etonians going to change? They won't be able to use the home or away dressing rooms until probably an hour after full time so are they going to be stuck in a cupboard or spare room somewhere? Access the pitch from round the back of the Riverside as the tunnel is off limits? Pretty sure there are rules in place with the EFL regarding who can access the tunnel area before/during/after a game and time limits for that so that could easily cause a problem All the while they are expecting good numbers of fans to sit in their seats and wait... I say these things because I genuinely wouldn't be surprised if nobody down there has even considered these issues and just thinks there will be 22 kitted out players stood waiting in the tunnel to run onto the pitch and kick off at full time.
  25. He needs absolutely beasting on the training ground, misplaced passes can be forgiven but casualness can't. If him, Gudjonsson and Kargbo come good it'll shape our season but as it is we are paying the price of too many cheap imports replacing good solid experienced championship players. Not like it wasn't predicted or anything !
  26. BRAG got Tugay and about 5K in the stands for a random match, I reckon there won’t be as many for this.
