pick32 Posted January 7, 2007 Posted January 7, 2007 Come on rovers lets get another and embares them.
modes98 Posted January 7, 2007 Posted January 7, 2007 What a finish, what a goal, what a striker! 4-1, see you in the next round.
West Sussex Rover Posted January 7, 2007 Posted January 7, 2007 All he does is score goals...... Excuse me, im not the only person who complained about him kicking the ball away for a needless yellow card! Ah well, great performance... Mokoena ruined a Freidel cleen sheet! Special thumbs up to, Todd, Henchoz when he came on, Bentley, Gamst, Gally and Derbyshire with Benni the icing on the cake...
daren Posted January 7, 2007 Posted January 7, 2007 I seem to recall people here earlier saying "Hang on!". Ok, it's been a while since we have had real reason to be confident, but it was 3-1! At that score, we should be looking to pick them off (as indeed we did) Good work from the boys today! Come on the rovers! Europe again this season, and maybe a cup (or two!)
tchocky Posted January 7, 2007 Posted January 7, 2007 Fantastic result! Please let's have lower league team in the next round!
Welshrover1981 Posted January 7, 2007 Posted January 7, 2007 Brilliant result. Good to see Matt get his second (another tap in, but any which way I don't care as long as he puts them in the back of the net), also Gallagher netting one as well.
Finch Posted January 7, 2007 Posted January 7, 2007 fantastic win. when we're good, we're good. no kidding thought we were going to get completely over-run in this one. Bring on Mondays draw!
Fife Rover Posted January 7, 2007 Posted January 7, 2007 I'm wondering if the 11 is age... I very nearly asked that same question a day or two back, but then I thought why bother? Only get a load of infantile abuse and filth. I thought they had rules on this site about this sort of thing. Apparently only applies to some and not others.
Oklahoma Posted January 7, 2007 Posted January 7, 2007 Great result, specially since we didn't present the best 11 possible. Great to see Jay, Matty and Gally get another game.
Dan Posted January 7, 2007 Posted January 7, 2007 Is Richard Dinnis a dingle? The after match talk has been him slating fans not turning up rather than how well we played. I've grown sick of him over the years.
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted January 7, 2007 Posted January 7, 2007 Dinnis is a pleb. Lets hope Reading do the business v the unspeakables and Rovers get an easy draw at home to some minnows.
Nayef Posted January 7, 2007 Posted January 7, 2007 when we're good, we're good. When we're bad, we're shocking. But no party pooping antics from me today. Nice to see Derbyshire and Gallagher scoring goals away from home. What a turn around in fortunes from our 6-2 mauling a few weeks ago. It's just like in the Rocky films. Rocky gets knocked out, goes into training, works hard and defeats all the minions in his way before coming face to face with his adversary. Our next game is set up to be "poetic".
Paul Posted January 7, 2007 Posted January 7, 2007 Apparently only applies to some and not others. We have, they don't. brfc11 is being moderated for a while till he learns to control his keyboard
Dan Posted January 7, 2007 Posted January 7, 2007 Full Time - bring on Burnley !! Can we handle the stress of another Derby?! Course we can bring it on!
Rovermatt Posted January 7, 2007 Posted January 7, 2007 One of my closest friends is a die-hard Evertonian. She's strangely quiet at the moment. Fantastic result. Cup run anyone?
bazza Posted January 7, 2007 Posted January 7, 2007 I've just been listening to Jan on 606. Good to hear a Rovers supporter on national radio. They don't often come on. What a Glaswegian accent! Rovers today............Brilliant. Well done lads
tcj_jones Posted January 7, 2007 Posted January 7, 2007 Why?? How many messages excluding this one replying to the dumbass message you just made have i made in the Everton v Rovers thread?? Pathetic free kick for the Toffees?? Well you have posted 10 times on this topic, so minus your response to my post, that makes 9 times. Admittedly that is quite good for you. I'm amazed you're only third highest poster on this topic, although, perhaps unsurprisingly, top of the list is bfrc11 with an astounding 23 posts... Anyway, great result from the lads. Even with Emerton, Savage and McCarthy on the bench we whipped Everton. That's four wins in a row now. Superb christmas run! What were peoples thoughts of Derbyshire today? Oh, and
yellowsubmarine Posted January 7, 2007 Posted January 7, 2007 A quote from Soccernet. Van der Meyde began to see more of the ball but Rovers skipper Andy Todd was an immovable object at the back for the visitors.
Daremz Posted January 7, 2007 Posted January 7, 2007 *Applauds big time for my Rovers and can't wait for MotD!* Well done boys, keep this run going, going, going!
