Parsonblue Posted August 24, 2009 Posted August 24, 2009 In answer to your question spencey7, I shall be travelling to Gillingham tomorrow and will be more than happy to see the Rovers play in the same way as we did against City and Sunderland. I know you find it difficult to believe that some of us don't mind Sam's style of football. In all the years I've watched the Rovers I've seen all sorts of styles, from Jack Marshall's superb attacking style to the dire stuff that we played under Ince. All manager's have their different approaches and I must say that, although we have lost the two opening games, I have thoroughly enjoyed them from an entertainment point of view.
only2garners Posted August 24, 2009 Posted August 24, 2009 Warnock is probably travelling. He was definitely on the plane down today - he was spotted by my spies at Manchester airport with the rest of the team.
Hughesy Posted August 24, 2009 Posted August 24, 2009 Id go with -------------Robbo------------------- ---------------------------------------- -Emerton -- Zurab -- Givet - Ollson ---------------------------------------- Diouf - Reid - NZonzi - Van Herden ---------------------------------------- -----------Kalinic -- Hoilett----------- Subs: Brown Gamst Jacobsen Roberts Grella Dunn Samba
bob fleming Posted August 24, 2009 Posted August 24, 2009 Van Heerden may or may not be injured, but he is absolutely terrible. He'll make Rigters look like Alan Shearer. Watch this space. Will he? That's a bonus! I'd start with Rigters and van Heerden if that's the case.
joey_big_nose Posted August 24, 2009 Author Posted August 24, 2009 Will he? That's a bonus! I'd start with Rigters and van Heerden if that's the case. Good work. I'm adding Spencey to my ignore. First person i have had to do it to!

cn174 Posted August 24, 2009 Posted August 24, 2009 I'm looking forward to this one. 1864roverite Posted August 24, 2009 Posted August 24, 2009 Oz, you could have come with me ! Unfortunately my intended itinery was amended by a trip to Wetherby and Lincoln rather than the London area. You could always branch out southbound
