modes98 Posted February 16, 2010 Posted February 16, 2010 Disappointed with Linganzi. Was playing on the right of midfield and did very little of note. Seemed like he was just going through the motions, Strange. LET seem to think he set up 2 and scored the last? LET Report New signing Amine Linganzi set up two first-half goals for Maceo Rigters before scoring the third late on against a youthful Wigan side at Robin Park.

beanie Posted February 16, 2010 Posted February 16, 2010 who scored muddboy? says on the LET site that Rigters got two and linganzie got one but id tend to maybe go with someone who was there tho.
Muddboy Posted February 16, 2010 Posted February 16, 2010 Rigters got the first two: one an easy header and the second a nice drive across the 'keeper from 10 yards. Linganzi for the third with a tap in – set up by Rigters. Rigters looked better than I remember. A powerful player and probably no worse than Jason Roberts, which isn't saying much.

You haven't mixed the players up per chance? Descriptions sound opposite.
den Posted February 16, 2010 Posted February 16, 2010 Rigters looked better than I remember. A powerful player Can't be Righters.
T4E Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 Whoosh. Hardly. An ironic whoooosh for you, though.

Except Rigters scored 2! Would be ironic if he came good as his contract ran out!
Hughesy Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 Anyone else attend the game? Liganzi set 2 up and scored 1 but did nothing! Anyone else got a view on the players on show? Did Grella stay fit?!
Majiball Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 Perhaps Tris went???? I read Basturk did an overhead kick that went close? thats the sort of entertainement we all want. Small and powerful was the report. All the reports say Linguini had a blinder, I don't know what else you call 2 assists and a goal, playing out of position. Also glad to see a diamond, perhaps a sign of things to come?????? -----------------Robbo----------------- new player---Samba---Givet-----Olsson -------------Anderton MKII------------- -------New player-----Pedersen--------- --------------Tugay MKII?-------------- ----------Di Santo------Kalinic--------
Backroom Tom Posted February 28, 2010 Backroom Posted February 28, 2010 Wonder how far away from fitness this guy is? We only have 10 games after today and he only has a contract till the end of the season, he may not get many chances to show what he can do at this rate.
magicalmortensleftpeg Posted February 28, 2010 Posted February 28, 2010 He was always going to get a month or so to get up to speed so its no surprise. I reckon we'll see him in the next couple of weeks.
philipl Posted February 28, 2010 Posted February 28, 2010 Even half fit, he has got to be a better selection than Keith.
Bobby G Posted February 28, 2010 Posted February 28, 2010 4-3-3 has brought the best of Andrews, albeit his best is average at most.
slough_rover Posted March 13, 2010 Posted March 13, 2010 Will we ever see this guy or will he become a myth like Reid, Grella and Dunn.
roversmum Posted March 14, 2010 Posted March 14, 2010 Saw him yesterday, warming up with the squad before the match ...
Amo Posted March 14, 2010 Posted March 14, 2010 Dunno why he didn't come on yesterday. Andrews wasn't going to change the game.
Inta Beaver Posted March 14, 2010 Posted March 14, 2010 Sam will play him in a home match first, you know we have to wrap these players in cotton wool before they make there debut!
cn174 Posted March 14, 2010 Posted March 14, 2010 Doesn't he only have a 3 month contract? It will have run out before he gets round to playing!
92er Posted March 14, 2010 Posted March 14, 2010 Doesn't he only have a 3 month contract? It will have run out before he gets round to playing! I think there was speculation when he was signed that he had played so little football recently that it would take almost the whole of his contract to get him match fit. It currently looks like another waste of wages.
T4E Posted March 14, 2010 Posted March 14, 2010 We've been paying him for 2 months to do nothing. Nice one Sam.

He wasnt going to start for the first month so to see him on the brink of the first team, virtually match fit, is as good as we could have realistically hoped for.
