Backroom DE. Posted December 26, 2011 Backroom Posted December 26, 2011 That didn't last long did it? only question is... how many is it going to become?
Stuart Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 Steve kean proving all his critics wrong according to commentator... Classic Catch-22. We may have to swallow this crap for a while yet. For the sake of Rovers.
McClarky Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 Sorry everyone...famous last words or what
Derbyshire Blue Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 When will people not realise Pederson is a whoops I missed off the "g" liability
The Rover of Finland Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 Steve kean proving all his critics wrong according to commentator... Yeah, right.
AggyBlue Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 Ah, normal service is resumed. Pedersen loses possession everytime he touches the ball
MarkBRFC71 Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 Hey, compared to the current pair of misfits, Goilon looks like the new Vieira and Van Heerden the old De Jong. Plus those two useless squadies were on the fringes of a reasonably successful squad (by our standards) who did have the odd game (very odd). Whereas now we are in the middle of our worst defensive crisis and they can't get a look in. Tells me all I need to know. They've all been equally as successful - whoever signed them. Anyway, trivia: did you know that the phrase "given away by Pedersen" is the most used in Premier League match commentary ever? Oh, balls - the old 47th minute goal concession rule we seem to have had since Hughesy left strikes again ....
rigger Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 A reasonably good clearing header by Samba, and all the rest of the defenders stand still and watch it, instead of simply stepping up and playing offside
The Rover of Finland Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 Second half possession 72-28. Tells everything. We just can´t even keep the ball. It´s all about defending own goal.
Exiled_Rover Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 Grant Hanley is just a god awful defender. No he's not. He's a 20 year old Scottish international. He's already serviceable and he's only going to get better. He's not Phil Jones, but few are. As for Pedersen - he's been ###### since he got here. A couple of cracking goals covered up the fact that he's slow, can't pass, can't shoot and generally drags the team down.
jim mk2 Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 Oh, balls - the old 47th minute goal concession rule we seem to have had since Hughesy left 1962 strikes again .... Wrong again.
cesus Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 Our patched up defence is working its arse off and is being massively let down by the midfields inability to help them out end hold the ball for more than 2 seconds!
Grez Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 That's another bet won on rovers conceding in first 10 mins of second half
Exiled_Rover Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 Second half possession 72-28. Tells everything. We just can´t even keep the ball. It´s all about defending own goal. Typical Kean - we go ahead and then it's all about defending the 18 yard box.
jim mk2 Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 Our patched up defence is working its arse off and is being massively let down by the midfields inability to help them out end hold the ball for more than 2 seconds! What's new ? Been that way since Sam Allardyce left.
McClarky Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 Liverpool have been much better 2nd half, we can't live themn in midfield so it's 1 way traffic. Still defending Ok though.
Stuart Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 They've all been equally as successful - whoever signed them. Anyway, trivia: did you know that the phrase "given away by Pedersen" is the most used in Premier League match commentary ever? Oh, balls - the old 47th minute goal concession rule we seem to have had since Hughesy left strikes again .... Ok, I'll drop it not although how Bruno and Myles can in ANY way be described as successful... Nice Peds joke though. I can't see the game by the way, I'm out and was intending to avoid the match altogether. Damn you "smart" phones and lack of willpower!
MarkBRFC71 Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 As for Pedersen - he's been ###### since he got here. A couple of cracking goals covered up the fact that he's slow, can't pass, can't shoot and generally drags the team down. Couldn't agree more. And to think, it's only months since a member of this board claimed that - and I quote - "if we had 11 Pedersen's we'd be in the top 4". It always amazes me that some people can watch football for so long, yet actually see so little.
The Rover of Finland Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 It was definitely good move to sack Sam and his awful hoofball. Under Steve we play so beautiful football.
