I think he came across well.

Lots of pleading to the fans! Seems to understand the scenario and promotion is the short/long term aim.

Let's see what he does above saying though!

I agree about that. Lets see if he can walk the walk and not only talk the talk, but I am a fan of hard work and effort. I think a team can go very far by achieving a team feeling where everyone fights nail and tooth for each other.

Will I boycott? NO!

The biggest problem is the Owners. I wanted them gone.

You realise these 2 things are completely incompatible right? As long as people keep going to games, Venkys will be our owners. There's nothing more certain in football, given what we know of the past 6 years.

If fans would rather keep going to games then get rid of Venkys that's fine. But its daft imagining you can have both. Going to games is effectively saying I can still put up with Venkys.

and venkys would 100% sell if everyone boycotted?Venkys have shown since they bought us that they don't care one bit about the fan's.They would probably be happy if nobody showed up.

Coyle Rovers interview

A magnificent club https://t.co/cxsu16wn1p

Sounds just like Coyle I remember upbeat positive speaks very enthusiastically.

Only way I see this working, let Irvine and Kelly handle tactics etc and.Coyle get the pom poms and be the short wearing cheerleader, the mouthpiece, the motivational speaker. Are we again going to become the least fit team in the Championship.

As long as we retain Chris Neville (our Head of Sports Science) who is also part the England backroom team we hopefully won't drop back into the bad old days of unfit players.

This shower are going to extinct Blackburn Rovers, mark my words. The.don't like us peasants not kissing their superior arses and they plan on killing what we love as payback. It's working. Look how well they have divided us on here. Boycott don't boycott. I think some are just fed up with footy in general and the Venks give them the perfect excuse.

If you love Rovers, hate Venkys then support you team. Attend AWAY games. I can imagine we might get some coverage if we have a sparsely populated Ewood but sell out every away game. Would support the lads and I'll bet it would get some press.

Honestly he couldn't have said much more, it's a good interview but we have all been burned by the 'gives a good presser' days

Let's see how the Squad starts shaping up

If you want boycott then I fully respect that but I will attending. Its my choice and you should respect that.

But is it not the manager.who drives training regimens. Frankly Kamy rumours of cakes.and.donuts, rounds of golf instead of training, Dingle players comments on unprofessional set ip. All these things have me concerned that we slip back into Bowyer mode. All pally pally but unfit and sloppy.

No but they'd be a heck of a lot more likely to. According to the article below, our turnover in 2012/13 was £27m, £16m of which would have been parachute payments so £11m generated by the club (a lot higher than I thought it would be actually). Our outgoings were £63m (an insane amount higher than I'd have thought).

https://www.theguardian.com/football/2014/may/22/club-by-club-guide-championship-finances-2012-2013

The main revenue streams of a club in a normal state (without parachute payment money) are matchday revenue, sponsorship and merchandise. As fans, we now have control of all the money going into Rovers. Theoretically we could make it so that the club earns £0 revenue this season. I expect our outgoings have gone down now to around £40m, but can Venkys stomach that kind of loss season on season? Its a step up even from the financial disaster the club has been so far for them. They might not care about the fans but they do care about money.

In any case, as I said, just as long as people know that going to games will keep Venkys right where they are, because it definitely, definitely will. Saying I'll go to games and then verbally protest to get Venkys out is as likely to yield results and saying I'll go talk to a tree in my garden and persuade it to run for Prime Minister.

He doesn't know, because.they.are.NEVER going to sell, Blackburn Rovers Football Club WILL be wound up before they will sell. Now everyone just think about that for a minute. No more BRFC. Gone, forever, finished, kaput.

Did Kean ever give a good presser?

He was awful in every which way from what I remember.

People think because other teams have survived admin then we will. They don't realize that actually those clubs don't technically exist any more.

Your entitled to your opinion and as I said iv no issue with anyone who feels that boycotting is the way foward and what they want to do but I won't be boycotting and I won't be labelled by you or anyone as being a venky supporter as I choose to attend games of a club iv supported my whole life

Hopefully he has learnt lessons from the past but yes all of that worries me as well.

The clever manager's are the ones who realise that they aren't experts on everything and listen to those at the club who specialise in fitness and nutrition. Ultimately that was one of GB's downfalls he tried to do everything and by the end wasn't listening to those around him.

Is that true? I always thought that applied after liquidation rather than administration, though I'm far from an expert in that sort of stuff.
