I have very little pride in BRFC anymore, just vitriol for the owners. 😠 Agree matey. Conversation always reverts back to one thing. 1 Quote

If correct, it would be interesting to know the dynamics - are V's now seeking to sell or is it some wealthy outfit who see an opportunity and are looking to make a splash? Heard anything more on this @Mercer?? Or turned out to be merely rumours? Quote

Think we all know how indecisive V's are and how slowly they tend to move. Just bear in mind a takeover process for a sizeable concern can take quite some time with due diligence alone accounting for 40 to 60 days (and I'm pretty sure any buyer of Rovers would be incredibly assiduous). There's little doubt that Rovers seem to be generally paranoid about leaks of any kind and this may account for the lack of rumour and speculation on this matter - other than my source of this information, I've only come across one other person who has knowingly mentioned it. 3 4 Quote

Proudtobeblue&white Posted yesterday at 17:47 Posted yesterday at 17:47 Any update on Watford? Is there any further intel on how well the boycott will be observed. The one's who will attend will not be on here. Is it going to be in the Telegraph, local news? 1 Quote
Backroom Tom Posted 23 hours ago Backroom Posted 23 hours ago Anecdotally speaking to people in the wild I think you’ll get a few boycotting but a good chunk cracking on, expect an attendance similar to a midweek game Quote

Just can’t see Venkys spending actual money in January (which they have) if this was being considered in any way. We can pray though Quote

We can pray though It’s the club committing to the spend, the upfront amount will be low. I can’t see anyone making any credible offer whilst our league future is up for debate. I’m holding on to them committing to some money to ensure they’re selling a championship club. Quote
roversfan99 Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago I think sadly such a hope is a forlorn one. 1 Quote

Backroom Tom Posted 12 hours ago Backroom Posted 12 hours ago A minor plea from me, who is neither an attender nor a boycotter merely one of the many many ‘natural boycotters’ If you use social media don’t rise to the bait, there are obvious posts out there with the sole purpose of agitation, it serves no good to get into a back and forth with other fans. You might feel you are sticking it to them but the only winners in that scenario are the powers that be inside the club. 6 1 Quote
pedrob2014 Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago Would more people who aren't boycotting be open to using the PNE game to not go to there seats until the 15th Minute game is live on sky 2 Quote

Norbert Rassragr Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago I refuse to believe we're going to be bought by anyone. Hope is a bad thing at Ewood Park. However, right now I'd accept a consortium of James Corden, P. Diddy and the Chinese Communist Party taking over if it meant the end of the Raos. 2 Quote

I find it so frustrating when I go on the cesspit that is X and see the ridiculous level of infighting. Even though I am aligned with their views, there are certain people on there that just do not help themselves at all because they continuously take the bait of the likes of the food tech teacher fella who is constantly fishing for an argument, and it all just ends in them resorting to insults. Can't remember who it was, but someone calling fans who still plan to go to the game 'scabs' just doesn't help at all, it's actually embarrassing and just paints one side in a bad light. Its simple - kill them with kindness and diplomacy. There's no need to resort to calling someone a scab or whatever. 1 Quote

Just seen a piece on the LT online about a couple of homemade banners advertising the boycott which were attached to railings at the junction of Buncer Lane and Preston Old Rd. It's good that they caught the attention of the LT but surely they could have been done properly at a printer's? They look really unprofessional. I've seen better efforts tied round lamp posts telling us all "Sheila is 60 today etc". 1 Quote
