That interview makes me think he’s thick as fuck.

Not as thick as he thinks we are... imagine expecting fans to believe that a 5-0 defeat to an average side won't have any effect on our confidence leading up to playing one of the best sides in the league! 🤣

When we lose to Leeds it’ll be 10 points from 13 league games under Eustace and 1 win.

JDTs final 13 league games….11 points.

Worth reminding all those with blinkers on raving about how we’ve improved the last few weeks and constantly quoting X points in X games.

Has a manager ever had the opposite of ‘new manager bounce’ to this extreme

This is quite damning

It is harsh to say it but it seems so.

He literally comes across clueless.

Just apologize to the fans it wont make you bleed or cost you anything you idiot.

I’m still shaking my head in disbelief at that interview. I know you don’t want to lose your players, but if I were manager I wouldn’t be able to hold back.

I know it was going completely Pete Tong under JDT, but at least he didn’t just talk absolute shite like this guy. We’ve had so many managers that just talk shit, Mowbray, Grinder Gary, Kean.

To be fair the squad is mostly crap for this level. It's impossible to polish turds. Having a 16 year old as the backup striker on the bench says it all when Bristol can bring on as subs 3 experienced proven strikers all better than any of ours. Venkys have presided over a decimation of the squad and the last three transfer windows have been pitiful.

Don’t worry it’s a good opportunity to come again on Saturday 🙄

On who🤣🤣🤣

Yeah I guess from my original post I also wanted to highlight how bad the end was under JDT….yet it’s looking as bad or worse under this fella.
If we needed a change then, there’s an argument to say we need a change now away from Eustace.

One of the greatest attributes any leader can have is humility.

All JE is interested in is self preservation with these stupid soundbites.

I can't bring myself to listen to his interviews. You know what generic bollocks is going to leave his mouth before he even starts.

I'd genuinely bin him right now and let Johnson & Lowe take the remaining games.

Also Pears.

Wtf man. He went down early for the first pen

He also was shocking for the first goal although yes hyam caused it but seriously. He doesn't ooze confidence and probably makes the defense nervous

Pears got away with several ill judged rushes out of his area and was all at sea with the in swinging corners. He's never far away from a calamitous error. But he's still better than Walstedt.....

Nail in the coffin tonight for me. It wasn't just the errors John, they looked inexcusably flat and slow from the moment the whistle went. Rovers invited the errors and looked beaten from minute 1. Bristol were way more up for it and I've no idea why that would be given the circumstances. That team is going down and they all know it, I even think the manager knows it. You can only put it down to ability after tonight, they just don't have enough of it.

A lot of neutrals tipping us to go down now and I agree with them. I was hopeful after recent results but I think we only have one point left in us, which we'll prob get against Wednesday. 47 points won't be enough. Us and Brum are going down I reckon.

Does women’s football count?…

It does, but not in the mens game. Has to be a record at our sort of level and above. Certainly in England, if not globally.

All I'd say in his defence is that we all know  he has had to start from ground zero. It's our first hammering in 13 or whatever, so he has somehow managed to make us harder to beat (till tonight 🙄).

He isn't going anywhere anyway , I'm just hoping he can grind out a win against Wednesday to keep us up. Nervous about that already.

Don’t understand this. Why would they leave if we went down? Why would one automatically lead to the other? Relegation is the worst thing that could happen.

Relegation would be a catastrophe yes.

But its coming. This year, next or in two years. The only way of avoiding it is if Venkys leave or they suddenly change their ways and run the club properly. Neither will happen.

So survival gets us nowhere other than a stay of execution, a nice bonus for the facilitators ahead of the next round of cuts and sales.

There is some slim hope that with relegation comes the final blow to the finances needed to push them out and drain the Ewood swamp. Its a slim hope but more likely to get them out than surviving.

I accept the most likely outcome is League One stagnation for a few years with Venkys still here, basically a modern day Crewe, but they are taking us there sooner or later anyway with their current funding and recruitment 'model'.

I expect you’re right.

Nobody will ever convince me he didn't do that shit on purpose. I've always suspected someone threw him a bribe, telling him it would also speed up his move away.

I thought I’d check whether we’re on course for a club record (we’re not as we conceded 102 in the 32-33 season.

1954-55 looks like it was exciting though, 114 scored 79 conceded!

No good blaming Eustace or JDT ..

It is all on the owners .

They have to go asap , bring on adminstration..

If ,, we stay up this season, we will be  relegated next ...

The club is set up to fail ....

Spot on.

Waggott will be chuckling into his cuppa watching fans bicker about players and managers and performances when its all immaterial.

It is all caused by Venkys. It will continue as long as they are here. Until everyone recognises that and accepts it they will continue to get away with it. Eustace will just be the latest patsy. If he takes us down they will turn the spotlight on him and Broughton and deflect away from the real culprits in India.
