I think it's a reasonable charge against the players.  However, the poor form started under Eustace and we did win two games under Lowe.  It felt to me as if the players were sulking once VI turned up, and it's taken some time for them to come to terms with the change.

I think we are safe in this case, the model of half a squad full of cheap academy lads doesn't leave space for aging players on high wages.  The only older players we will get are those still scratching around for a club in August (and therefore with no pre season behind them), and willing to accept wages of under £10K/week

There are two huge fixtures today involving teams in the relegation mix. Preston are at home to Plymouth and Hull at home to Derby.

Preston are really struggling for any form as two points from the last six games illustrates whereas Plymouth have ten points from their last six. Nobbers saving grace might be that their goal difference is significantly better than the current bottom three. It would be hilarious if they did get relegated though.

As it stands there are eight teams who can still go down and for supporters of these today and next Saturday will be squeaky bum time.

I think PNE's saving grace is that Hull and Derby play each other. Although a Derby win really puts some teams in danger.

Plymouth simply have to win though, a loss today and they could be toast.

🤞PNE are in serious trouble by the days end.

A draw between Hull and Derby would put Hull above them and Derby within two points of them.

We definitely want Preston to be losing today and still be in with a shout of going down after this weekends results with them playing Bristol City in their last game 

We don't want them already on the beach for that game

The PNE fans I know, they aren't happy with Heckingbottom or this season, Yesterday they were saying if they were a couple more games left then they would be going down. 

They aren't looking forward either with limited spending and they are still wondering why they spend £1.8m on a winger last summer when they don't play that way. They would like to see Heckingbottom gone and going for more attacking style and play a different formation.

Luton are really struggling to create anything against the man Coventry much as the struggled against us a fortnight ago. The are putting plenty of crosses in for Morris but Coventry have been untroubled by these.

If they draw with Boro, we'll be above them on goal difference anyway.

All hypothetical of course, as we'll no doubt lose today now that the dying embers of our hopes are somehow being rekindled.

Thats right. We have to win both and hope Coventry don’t win today or V Boro next week. A draw for them or a defeat, makes no difference

yep, could do with Boro getting something against Norwich today to keep them interested next week, whilst Millwall hopefully fail to win against Swansea today which sees them drop out of the race
