@Mike Graham you ever tried to engage new owners yourself? That might come across as pedantic in text but it’s a genuine question.

I think the older generation of Venkys are probably beyond kindling any interest in the club or even in being bothered to sell it (makes no sense I know) and the antipathy towards them from the fanbase is unlikely to ever change.  I've often wondered if there are any of their adult children who could be persuaded to take more interest in the Club and maybe try to re-engage with fans and champion the Club in family discussions. Glen Mullan hinted that there is at least one of this generation that he has talked to. If as seems the case Venkys don't want to sell for whatever bizarre reason then as a fanbase we can try and force them to see sense (through the coalition most likely) or find another way of developing a connection that restores some interest and taps into their considerable wealth more reliably (and a new generation of interested Venkys might just be acceptable to the fanbase...though they would have a lot of work to do). I'm just interested to know if anyone knows anything about the younger generation of Venkys and if they have any interest in football at all. All the evidence would suggest its unlikely I know.   Carrying on like we are is only going to end one way...downwards.. until we find a level we can afford to be at with the disinterest and underfunding Venkys senior employ.  Probably League 2 or National league.

£2.50 for Rovers to post me a Charlton away ticket.  I want it hand delivered via an Ewood Express with our Commercial Manager gurning at my front door for that price.

The alternative is go to the club shop but it is always closed when I can go.  RIP off Ewood.

No.  It is not the done thing.  At least one of them has gone to a competitor club.

Perhaps we need a nouvelle approach then, because the “done thing” hasn’t achieved anything as of yet!

It’s not as simple as this but surely there is somebody who has the “influence” (god I hate that term) to promote a bit of National coverage

Great question regarding the next generation of their family.

As long as the next generation had  a hand on the levers of power within the Venky Empire.

Pasha runs the subsidiary.....who will turn it from a Subsidiary to a Community Enterprise?

Is anyone else having issues with digital tickets this year? I had no issues last year at all but for the Birmingham game my tickets wouldn't download to the Google wallet and having just bought for Ipswich I'm having a similar issue, the club are zero help so I assume it's not a widespread issue but I wondered if it were just me and my slightly knackered phone...

Stab in the dark but could it be that your Android Operating System is not compatible or won't run the most recent versions of Google Wallet? You could try updating the app, but if it is an old phone it probably won't be any help.

We must have the tackiest most wank club shop ever.

The 150th anniversary clobber they put together is absolutely disgusting.

The only thing that's actually worth buying is that T with the white stripes on the shoulder and the badge in the middle.

The rest of it id even be refusing on my own stag do and prefer to wear a wedding dress

It's better on a Monday.

It is less than a month to the next FF on the 20th October.  Shall we ‘open a book’ on whether it will be postponed and also the reasons / excuses given?

I bet it is odds on the FF will be postponed.  The reason will either be a flooded pitch, or the Club are working on what to organise for the 150th anniversary.

I reckon we could easily get a sweep going on it.

'Working on the 150th celebrations' is a good shout. Put me down for a tenner.

As the subject of censorship is the hot topic of the moment are we ever going to get any sort of explanation as to how we ended up with various sets of minutes arising out of the last meeting or how the heavily censored and slightly embellished set seemingly came to be initially agreed with the Club?

The censorship of FF minutes, the censorship of the local press… these crooks really are arrogance personified

If and when this does go ahead some serious questions need asking about the above to make them squirm

I am pretty sure, we won't get an explanation from the club, as they did their level best to stick to the ones they accepted, which, according to Glen's version, were nothing like accurate.

These have been published on here, along with the other two versions, but if anyone wants all 3 drop me a PM.

It is yet another ideal opportunity for the LT this, as it is a story with the Headline reading something like:

Blackburn Blackout

We are gagged, and the fans are Gagged, so why do the power brokers at the club feel the need for this?

Genuine question, have the coalition got anything cooking other than the statement put out the other day? The nose-diving of results coupled with the LET debacle should mean there is plenty of momentum to run with.

Lots but as per my other post, we are gonna need funds

Anything free in the pipeline? I feel like providing exposés to Elliott Jackson might be doable after how the club has dismissed the Telegraph. Maybe even Henry Winter or David Conn?
