RevidgeBlue Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago (edited) Looking at Vince's complaints in detail..... "No pen at WBA" - From memory the incident was extremely early in the game so a real stretch to say that was a pivotal turning point "Gudjohnsen at Watford" - We won, not sure what his point is "Charlton Handball/no pen" - We lost 3-0, not sure what his point is "Swansea no pen" - Don't recall anything particularly contentious "Preston No red card, no penalty on Gueye" - We won, so not sure what his point is on Gueye. Agree on the no red card, was a potential career ender. "Wrexham No foul on Hedges" - Virtually irrelevant either way, we should defend the resultant free kick Ipswich "Red Card/Penalty on Ohashi Most people agree Ohashi wasn't a pen. Imo possible red card but by no means clear cut. Either way the failure to win down yet again to our inability to defend. Nothing whatsoever to do with the officials. Overall a load of self serving twaddle from our so called "leader" trying to divert attention away from his own abysmal performance to date. Edited 15 hours ago by RevidgeBlue 3 Quote

Guy next to me at work supports Swansea and said it was one of the worst decisions he'd seen in a while. Quote

At normal speed I initially thought the defender had got something on the ball but on watching the replay, it was a pen and a mistake by the ref. That cost us a point then. Quote
Popular Post JHRover Posted 15 hours ago Popular Post Posted 15 hours ago Ismael's just following the Venky Rovers playbook - blame anyone and anything other than ourselves. Already we've had referees, the weather, the drainage, previously we've had injuries, bad luck, the EFL, fans, parachute payments, FFP rules, covid, Eustace, nasty players, their agents, Tomasson, Broughton, administrative errors, plain hard luck. It is quite the list and it grows every season as a failing regime searches far and wide for reasons, other than their own decision making and ineptitude, why this club is a failing husk of an organisation. Obviously they can't blame the real source of pretty much all our ills - the vile group of people in India overseeing it all year in year out - nor will the lower down employees do anything that might lay blame at the door of the henchmen in the shadows doing whatever it is they are doing. Nor indeed the incompetents beneath them, promoted way beyond their capabilities or stations simply by virtue of being willing, compliant and cheap. So into the void they blame all the other things that we cannot control and which clueless supporters just love to point their fingers at and believe little old Rovers are doing their best in the big nasty world that is set up against us. I'm the first in the queue to blame refereeing competence, of which there is a catalogue, but I am not for one second having it that our pathetic home results, rapid decline down the table (play off to relegation contenders in mere months) are the fault of anyone bar those running this shambles. 16 Quote
wilsdenrover Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago Maybe Ismael could do a list of critical errors made by players this season. I imagine he’d need more than one sheet of paper. 5 Quote

Unfortunately for him, his own appointment will be on there somewhere . Edited 4 hours ago by Upside Down 3 Quote

Why don't we have the game under control? Nothing to do with the refs, however shit and biased they are. 2 Quote
arbitro Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Rovers are advertising An Evening with Valerian Ismael in the Premier Suite on January 8th. I went to one of the with John Eustace and enjoyed it. The Community Trust arranged this and proceeds went to a cancer charity. The charge, from memory was nominal. This one is £35 for adults and £20 for under 18's with no mention of the Trust or charity. Poor again from Rovers and likely to be another embarrassment. 3 Quote

Mattyblue Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Desperate for cash. Noticed a lot this season, an event that might have cost a tenner with a pint thrown in is now 30, 40, 50 quid. Quote

The recent Souness and Mowbray evening was £50 and I don't know anybody who went. The fairest way would be a ballot amongst season ticket holders but fairness seems to have been removed from the Ewood vocabulary. Quote
