his wages are out of reach of us.Β

With a cheapskate policy the only wages within our reach will be the desperados no other clubs want (eg Forshaw) and the cheap and unproven foreign imports (eg De Neve).

How dare they.

Nail absolutely hit on head by @AndyBand @MarkBRFC.

Sadly, the gullible and naive section of our fan base will continue to swallow what, IMO, is utter bullsh1t coming out of Rovers.Β

I watched the Atletico v Espanyol game and was struck by how different Dolan was in his willingness to cross early. His first involvement in the game he did his trademark slow down to try and speed up routine and got clamped fairly easily. From there on it was a case of touch out of his feet and whip it in, he looked effective to be fair to the lad.

I alway thought Dolan would be more of a success than BBD because he’s willing to work harder. I know, it’s a low bar. Fans will accept some failings if they can see the player is giving his all.

Ismael not counting the Bradford game is weird, guaranteed he counts it if we won the game tho.. it’s not a friendly ffs it’s a competition.

I said at the time he treated it like it didn't matter and his comment just confirms it.

It's was you who posted that info. Slagging your own info off there. 🀣

His wife and children didn't move to Leeds with him. Did an interview during the season confirming that he lived on his own in Leeds

After all this time you still haven't realised that my comments were tongue in cheek and sarcastic.Β

No wonder the club can pull the wool over your eyes so easily.Β

Why did Hyam play on Saturday thought he was missing? Why?Β

You wrote your own club last season and you were proven wrong. Still haven't learnt have you.Β

Like I said, some signings will work out and some won't. Just like every football and season.Β

I've read some mixed stuff online that people think we are going down, and some say they've seen enough to think we will be ok. I think our squads one of those where it might look like it can compete on a matchday but it lacks football brains (experience), and lacks goals, Saturday against brum was the perfect example of it. If you added 3 players of championship quality then yes it potentially might be able to sniff around playoffs. But leave it as is, then this team that looks like it can compete will lose a lot more than it will win. Saturday already feels like a massive game already, and I just don't think we will pick up 3 points (just my opinion).Β

What worry's me is the stats under VI, we don't keep many clean sheets compared to JE, and we aren't looking like much in front of goal. We can huff and puff all we want on match days and look ok competing wise, but if you cant keep clean sheets and score goals, ultimately it only ends one way. In my opinion I think our current group of squad players looks worse than what went down to league 1 before. The fact we are only missing carter and forshaw is a worry, its not like we have loads of players missing.Β

Also if tyjon is not going to sign I dont think he should be in the squad, it feels like its too early for him and he needs a loan out maybe, but we are only involving him because arsenal are sniffing, and we are going to give him minutes just to try and persuade him to stay knowing full well hes prob not ready, and worse yet he will probably still sign for arsenal anyway. In my opinion Leonards probably better off over him. Squad wise on paper it just looks pretty horrible, but if you can 3 players of quality at this level the group could swing the other way, i do think its fine margins. But with this current squad add some injuries and its prob not even a strong league 1 team. its a long old season with this current group.Β

Like many im fearing the worst this season, its the same old circus behind the scenes. This is not me having a pop at anyone, but I swear I read somewhere that someone has a direct line to venkys in some way, surely they must be aware then that they need to spend something if they want to have any hope of sniffing around promotion let alone staying in the current division we are in. Even the contract situations, surely they should know about those to? Otherwise just try and flog the club for sale, cut your losses and go.Β

Monday rant over.

We go again.

Yep, its not like our team is uncompetitive. But you strip away all of them pesky snakes that were also our key experienced heads who could manage games properly and results will go in the opposite direction. Also, Eustace was pragmatic enough to set us up in a way where we could grind out results. Still not entirely sure what Ismael is trying to do.

We got the odd thrashing but even under Coyle or that second season under Tomasson with such a young and underfunded teams, it was often frustratingly tight games that kept going against us. At the moment we can put it down to misfortune but it wont be if it keeps happening.

Whether he wants to count it or not doesn't matter.

It goes on his managerial statistics - now played 15, won 4, drawn 3, lost 8.Β

We aren't finding it difficult to sell players though, are we?

We are to be fair, drags on for weeks, managed to flog 1 out of the 4 they want rid of so far.

He's also capable of controlling the ball which BBD was woeful atΒ

Haven't we technically sold less players than we've bought?

i guess most fans aren’t really interested in what is happening at board level or how much players earn. They just want to watch good football that produces results.

They would have been very happy with the performance on Saturday had it resulted in a win or at least a draw but deep down they know something is wrong. Giving stupid goals away and not scoring enough is only going to result in a relegation battle.Β
Β

It’sΒ still within Venkys power to turn this poor start into a competitive season but they must spend money on players that will improve the quality of the team.Β

Extrapolated, it's 46 points over a seaon - would see us relegated.

If VI had instilled the importance of every game into the players, we might not have been two nil down to Bradford within five minutes.

I always want whatever is best for the club.

But also one result within that changes the extrapolation. If we had held our lead against Birmingham as we should have been able to, it's about 55 points. Football is a game of too small margins and that's too small a sample. Need to pop some points on the board soon though.
