Can someone run me through where the current logic is regards projects and transitions.

In some respect I accept promotion is challenging and with a smaller budget that can't be possible.

Evidence suggests (Szmod, Hyam) we should be buying competitive league one players, but we've shifted Riordan out again on line to then clear his 'pathway'

Instead we are buying players to convert to ESC slots, but in turn have gotten rid of a DoF who's had success at arguably the biggest success in European small budget football at Glint?

We've now abolished the core of a proven championship team and manager, brought in a bit of a squiffy record hard man and given him the task of 'going up' with some real punts

Pedigree like Morashita give me some hope for a plan, but changing him from a good player in a good side to a star player in a youth team doesn't align to any plan as far a I can tell

Don't do the blaming the fans thing, it's embarrassing.

I'm not blaming 'the fans' for our situation, but I do hold those (Increasingly few) who publicly defend the regime in contempt

So we're selling our primary cb because basically 'the offer was too good to turn down' but there's no sign a replacement has been lined up and the only player we are strongly being linked to is yet another right back (that seems almost identical to lewis miller)

that about sum things up?

It wasn't that long ago we were turning down higher bids for the likes of BBD and Rothwell, supposedly at the owners' behest, preferring to retain their abilities rather than allow them to leave (rightly or wrongly).

Now £2.7m for our main CB on deadline day, with no replacement, is something we 'can't turn down'. I don't see this as some masterful evolution of our strategy to stop players leaving on a free - it's the taps being turned off and us needing to claw in whatever transfer money we can, whilst making sure the wage bill continues to drop. It would be interesting to know what the actual terms of our permanent transfers are, in terms of how the fees are being paid, and how these signings contrast with a like-for-like comparison to the wage savings of those being replaced.

Cost cutting.

There is no aim to go up. RG said it is not important.

Not until January,

pretty sure since he has been there more than a month/4 weeks, there is no way to recall early

I thought you could recall them after 4 weeks but not before. I might be wrong

In my humble opinion Castore are dreadful shirts, cheap looking.  Shirt sales will fall off the cliff.

doesn't Castore have big contracts with England Cricket, Red Bull racing, Everton, England Rugby team?

Can’t announce Hyam’s exit til he’s filmed his hostage video.

Tbf he arrived and looked like he had been sent here instead of wanting to come. Never seen a less enthusiastic signing

Don't boo the Pash! Probably revenge for the letter and booing from last season...

Big, big questions asked of this squad, we need some serious luck with injuries this season, or it's gonna be a long one.
