Tavares also hyped up as a big talent when he joined... within two months he can't even get into this team. Embarrassing.

Funnily enough, I received a phone call this evening from someone presenting themselves as BRFC Privy. I could swear it was a lady pretending to be a man. Anyway, the point is that they wanted me to pass on that Tavares, although he has good knowledge of the English language, is the only one of our new signings who hasn't found a proper house yet. He is also investigating the reasons behind his lack of intensity, including whether buying a new Tesla might be a contributing factor, as well as other aspects like mattresses and food.

As I understand it, things get complicated because his girlfriend isn't settled in the area and wants to move to Scandinavia, and he feels very let down by Travis leaving, as well as the pitch at Ewood.

I am certainly not claiming any ITK - no badge necessary - just passing on information that might settle some nerves. Our data approach only fails in one of ten cases, and money, of course, cannot buy success.

Hang on, did this really happen, or are you taking the piss?

I've had a long day, I genuinely can't tell.

I'm sorry; I should have realized it's late! I guess we've all had 15 very long years.

You know what, whilst you clearly jest, with the current state of the club I could still believe this.

I guess there is a genuine sadness behind the mask of every jester. They have held our club hostage for 15 years, and I sincerely hope we will reclaim it one day. Perhaps there is one last fight left in us fans?

I'm sure Pasha would come out with some crap like that.

Never mind Pasha, some of the fans as well!

Tbf I didnt think he was that great when he was here, (probably gained a new lease of life from being out of this madhouse) BUT I think everyone was unanimous in thinking it was madness to release him at that stage of the window without any replacement.

Don’t worry we’ll be able to get O’Riordan back in January. It’ll be like signing a new player !

I bet Gestede fancies some loans in January looking at Preston's results.

What an imbecile.... That's what happens when one of your top men is work experience.

Season panning out as expected, ex-players who would walk into the team:

Brittain, Sanderson, Hyam, Trav, Dolan,

Heck even JRC and Buckley would improve this current team, and they were Blackburn lads to boot

Foreshaw contract renewal panning out also as expected - don’t think he will be seeing many minutes at all this season

Baradji not seen

Kargbo injured probably gone.

Taveres god knows where.

The one that really interests me is Cantwell, will he reappear?

Wonder if anyone will take a punt on Tom Lockyer; not played in 2 years since his cardiac arrest and released by league one Luton, currently training with Bristol Rovers.

will he play a game before Moussa Baradji?

Signed by Bristol rovers and started their 1st game after straight away. They then lost their 3rd game 4-0 or so in a row and his lb got sent off. Some return!

Football league World have picked the most exciting player at each championship club, and then ranked them.

Gudjohnsen had been picked as ours and in the last surprising news ever, he's ranked 23rd.

Exciting summer indeed.

It's a very strange pick. Alebiousu is far better, even just from this summer's signings. They've literally picked Gudjohnsen because of his dad and having been at Real's academy.

And this list was picked before he scored too. It's someone who has never seen us play. But yes, this was a poor summer window on current evidence.

It was exciting though, as we got a few sunny days, in a row.

Didn't feel like we were undone by 3 changes to the side today. It felt like we were undone by careless, amateur transfer business in the summer. Importantly the complete negligence in sanctioning the Hyam sale without a last minute replacement - a player who played all 46 games last season. He should have been under lock and key until another CENTRE BACK came in. If they didn't make it in time, no deal Wrexham... whatever the price. I'm all for selling with 1 year left but they were far too late in the day with their bid.

Whoever agreed the decision was sensible and for the good of the club needs firing immediately. The problem is it was likely an agreement between Suhail Pasha, Gestede and Ismael. Idiots the lot of them!

They have either severely underestimated the league, miscounted the number of true senior centre-backs or decided to gamble with the future of the club by handing nearly every team in the league an advantage for the first half of the season.

It's a farce.

Who was Ismael trying to kid at the end of the window that this wasn't an issue? Of course it was going to be and it is already. He's starting Championship games with an attacker at left centre-back. It's insane stuff. Plenty of managers would have their names into other clubs again (Eustace, JDT), MOST WOULD HAVE THREATENED IT ON DEADLINE DAY IF HYAM WENT but he was seemingly part of the plot.

Anyone who has watched Rovers enough last past 3 or 4 seasons could have easily predicted that Wharton and Carter would not be around for decent parts of this season. Why would they be? They've got some of the worst injury records in the league.

16 appearances last season for Carter.

0 for Wharton. Zero due to a major injury, a player who struggles to make 25 games a season in a good year and has had multiple career harmful injuries.

There's 46 games in a Championship season, sometimes 3 a week....... is our CEO even aware of that?

We have a guy called Moussa Baradji at the club to come in and play attacking midfield? Never heard of him. We didn't need him. We needed senior defenders on decent wages! That was clear at the START of the summer.

They are asking fans to pay for this. The club is a total circus and it's getting left behind in the division by nearly everyone.

Gestede has got to go and whoever else was involved.
