It appears that the mantra of any revenue from outgoing transfers not being reinvested in the squad has gone completely out of the window (thank god), and that loan signings will be a last resort.

I think someone has realised we were woefully short of assets.

The ones over this £10k wage cap (or wanting an extension over this £10k wage cap) have been shifted out. They've been replaced with young gambles from abroad with an eye on developing them and selling them on.

We'll be in the black when the window closes because we've absolutely slashed the wage bill.

For the club to be such a big part of your life (20 years?) you should have more respect for it... no matter how your time comes to an end. The fans don't need goading with petty "so glad we're out" comments from anyone.

I'm all for Venky's out and bringing in a better board but the comments show a lack of intelligence. You'd expect better from a player liaison old enough to be their mum but maybe not from the academy players.

I don't want to see another "glad we're out" comment. Focus on your next job and if there are issues at Rovers you know about and can voice, at least maintain some professionalism with it.

Leonard going for 7 figures is a great sale, like Buckley both have talent but just weren't doing it for different reasons. I hope the club are able to bring a few more first team options in by Monday..... strikers need upgrading and I did want a better centre back.

Interested to see what they can pull off!

I can't disagree with the lack of class in people ditching the dirt in the "insta", Facebook culture...

In a previous life, I took over a service, where were amid all the luvs, huns and various emojis, staff were all too busy marginalising managers and colleagues...

All the best to Harry Leonard. Some great moments for us, most recent that equaliser on Boxing Day last year against the Mackems. Good positional awareness and his finishing was decent enough(?). Hope he kicks on.

A shrewd bit of business for Posh if him and his bad back can stay off the physio table.

Back injuries are the worst. I slipped a disc about 10 years ago and it still gives me grief to this day. Granted I’m a rotund ageing layabout, and not a professional athlete, but still.

Should open up a new slot for a striker. Over to you Rudy!

I remember when I was a young lad getting excited about links to Eidur Gudjohnson when we were under Hughes. Now we're in for his son, time sure does fly...

Kudos to Gestede, it has been an exciting window. I have no idea what to expect this season but I'm more optimistic than I expected to be a couple of months back.

I guess we have Tyjon, Carter, Wharton and Montgomery still. 3000 mins is 33 full games between them (average of 8 games each) over the season which doesnt seem totally ridiculous.

I dont recall Ohashi playing a single minute on the right wing.
