Wharton's not been the same since his injuries.

I mean, he's literally only just come back from the most horrific of injuries....

I didn't think he looked out of place - clearly quite athletic and sprayed some nice passes around.

He was decent for the first 60 min, but after that you could see he had nothing left. Should have been subbed off but we literally don’t have on the bench to come in for him.

I think that's me done.

15 years of shit ownership. 3 years of zero investment and back to back games decided by incompetent refereeing.

I can't take any more of this - it's pure punishment to be a fan of this team.

I took some time off from the forum and Rovers towards the end of last season. Didn’t even come back when we started winning again. Back again now as I can’t help myself, but by his left tit….this is not good for my mental health! At this moment in time I can see nothing else than a change in ownership that could save us. Not even a «marquee» signing. It’s just dreary and bleak. So come on you blue(monday after monday after monday)s.

We’ll have some bad decisions against us, some for us but there’s certainly no conspiracy. Seems today it went against us.

Odds say that's true, it certainly hasn't felt that way for a long, long time.

Dont think anyone is forcing you to be a fan of this team.

But you seem to think we are victimised from the very first foul it’s very much confirmation bias

I haven’t seen a kick this season so can’t comment too much but I’d say referees are just generally not that adept these days

I thought Ohashi was kicked to the ground twice early - and then wrestled to the ground for the rest of the match.

I'm perfectly fine with the latter if they let Gueye use his strength against defenders - they don't.

It's having a pair of eyes, not confirmation bias.

Bottom line we had that game before Miller stuck a needless foot out with cover behind him.

Too many changes too late disrupted the flow.

I just hate losing to the big rich club

Thought there was plenty of fight, just zero quality. Subs were awful. Some dreadful signings. Offered nothing going forward bar the long throw at the end. 3 games, 3 loses.

Hmm thought the defensive signings actually looked pretty decent.

Its up top and out wide where we haven't signed anyone apart from De Neve (who is bad i agree) we look very weak.

Their GK pulled off a worldie from Gueye and Hyam decided to head across goal rather than into the back of the net with a free header.

We created enough today.

I disagree we “created” enough. First half we didn’t have a sniff of their goal. Got a great hit from Todd, but wouldn’t say we were creating lots of chances. Maybe 4 chances in 90 min. That’s not enough most days

He wasn't the same before the most horrific of injuries, due to a previous injury.

Well as nobody actually tripped their #2 I'd suggest you get down to Specsavers?

Tbf having another look at the replay, I think there was contact from behind on his legs. But no more than we failed to get given when it happened to Ohashi or even Cantwell in the previous two games.

3 defeats, terrible start to the season. Squad downgraded, no goalscorer, no surprise.

Gestede out! Suhail out and most importantly... Venky's out!

He sucked before he got injured, now he'll just be worse. Like I've said before: Give him a job driving the bus if he wants to hang around.

But why would any ref have any bias against us? We're not a special club. Maybe the other 91 clubs in the efl get hard done by too?

Only watched the second half. Was all Birmingham after we went ahead, but Toth wasn't being made to make a save.

I've seen a few replays of the pen and there is absolutely no contact. An absolutely terrible decision by the ref. Then the corner which led to their counter attack and goal should have been a penalty to us. The balls travelled 50 yards and blatantly strikes the arm of one of their players unchallenged. Whys the ref not giving that. All the players appealed. They all saw it. Yes players appeal for everything these days, but typically that's when there's a challenge. Not a random event like a player misjudging the flight of the ball and handballing. Stings even more when he's given a non existent one to them.

Worried about our quality though. Could have sworn I was watching us under Big Sam. We put some pressure on at 1-1 but it was pure physicality and lumping it. We're going to run out of steam at some point this season with a small squad and that level of physicality. And we're not even picking up points whilst we're at full fitness.
