We couldn't compete with the offer Bradford City made but we tried!

The absolute arrogance of Rudy. It's scary when someone can be so blindly ignorant, grossly incompetent.

How can anyone think we improved during the summer?

Absolutely mental, he can't genuinely have believed the shit he was saying?

A narcissist and a liar....The best transfer window ever!

If any other clubs are interested above L1 then he's not coming here. We all know that from experience.

You'd think so wouldn't you?

Are you sure you're not thinking of Adam Catterall?

No, Adam Catterall is talk sport (and is also a Rovers fan) and is also someone who I know a fair bit about, but I know Adam Cottier personally and he is 100% a Rovers fan.

Plenty on here were excited by the summer.

No way plenty on here were excited, maybe one or two at most.

Take to social media and you might find a few, but most fans and the vast majority on here, so it for what it was.

Quite excited about the prospect of us signing Reyes Cleary. Quick, direct and with good close control - plus there's more potential to unlock and resale value.

Hope we spend on a striker as well, we need players in and around the box willing and able to score goals. Think we will probably look at someone who has lost their way a little and wants a move, or could be another loan if the club feels that Joseph (or someone else) are ready for a role in the first team squad from next season.

If he signs, it will be interesting to see what we do with him, he is a winger/wide forward, so will the back 3 be ditched later in the season/next summer?  Or will they try to convert him to a striker?  Cant see them using him as a wing back

Personally see this as a data driven pick, and he would be utilised off the bench as a striker, for the rest of this season at least

If he was to sign he would be played up front, a Kargbo replacement as I think if he hadn't been injured he would have been used as a striker too.

Hopefully he can play out wide on both flanks, fill in as striker/second forward and in the pocket, if needed. Not sure how he’ll fit in our current formation, no.

Would be classic of this regime if we starting signing wingers all of a sudden for 532 formation.

Would it surprise anyone if the 5-3-2/3-5-2 was just a sticking plaster to hide a terrible transfer window, and they revert to "Plan A" next summer, after disposing of 2 Championship level left backs in Pickering & Ribeiro?

Nothing should surprise us with this lot.

Quite a long and dull article, preoccupied with past events. My first Rovers game was in the 70s and we were in the second division then. I’m proud of my club. We’ve a long history including the top prize of several league titles. The club treats the fans well and the players are down to earth and approachable. I’ll be there today, enjoying the dark humour and match day excitement. I’ll be dreaming of promotion, but not expecting it. We’ve a great top team with Rudy & Val. I believe in them.

Maybe Rovers see him as Ohashi type striker, who will run the channels and work rate whilst allowing Gudjohnsen and another one to stay central. Just a thought.

Seeing as it doesnt look like he's played as a striker so far, thats probably the plan.

This lot just wing it from one transfer window to the next don't they.

Every 6-12 months, "the project" suddenly changes, as if by magic.
