Not playing for a team that finished as one of the top teams in the MLS (semi final of their convoluted league system) is a considerably higher level than playing in the National League North, and Pratt has done fine.  Duru will of course have been training

That said, I don't think Rovers hold any option re Duru, San Diego had the option to extend his loan regardless of what Rovers wanted, and they also hold an option to make it permanent should they wish

Not playing is not playing - do all the training in the world but it’s not the same as actually playing competitive football - no loss to us at present at all

I just bid for Cleary, Barnsley rejected my offer too

Its actually getting the deals done that matters

 

If anyone is interested, my offer was £534,000.26, spread over 76 years, with a 2.5% sell on.  Whilst my bid was rejected out of hand, I am the highest bidder thus far

they put bids in to placate the brainwashed (like chaddy) into thinking we are trying to get players in,in reality the bids are so low that they`ll never be accepted,to make it look respectable they then arrange a loan for some over the hill midfielder with the proclamation,the january window is very difficult,we tried but other clubs are in a far better position financially,cue a p****d off manager and players that can`t wait for the summer so they can get away

In fairness, when he says things there is a possibility they are true, or partly true. He does get some things right. But there's at least as much chance it's cobblers, so hanging on his every word is ludicrous.

We haven't been ready for the January window in any of the last 5 years, what on earth makes you think it will be any different this time?

We had several bids in early but January is hard to do business in and we were knocked back by unrealistic prices or gazumped.

We did all we could but it'll be an exiting summer instead.

Pickering, Ribero, Toth and Tronstad turned down 12 month extensions because they are greedy and some wanted to go home.
