And yet so very predictable

Fair point, I could believe either to be honest, he is apparently aligned with the project after all

Luckily most of us knew what was coming as soon as Ismael said he wanted players in quickly.

I still can't help myself get mad though.

Qpr paying £5 million for Ronnie Edwards at Southampton.

Overpriced for me but  depressing they can be paying those sort of fees whilst we scour the bargain bin and go to clubs with our begging bowl for loans asking the parent club to pay most their wages in exchange for us guaranteeing minutes

I do worry about the mental state of those of us who still put their faith in the club being good to their word, each and every transfer window

Just out of interest, what is it that makes anyone believe a word he says?

He didnt like loans either, supposedly.

The account also deleted a post stating it was a loan to buy

when challenged on it their response was ‘I don’t know why I posted that’

guesswork at best

But if you check the original exclusive post I literally made it clear saying there's no option to buy at all.. make it make sense lad

Or did he know there was no chance whatsoever of that, but said it anyway to try and placate a gullible fan base?

The signing we have made only seems to be here because he won't cost us anything whatsoever.

and if he's as bad as the Brummies say, we will still have to play him or very likely suffer a financial penalty!

Madness!

Did you or did you not have a post stating ‘with an option to buy’? And then deleted it

Winning headers and making defenders think, a 6'4 defender playing against a 5'10 striker is a walk in the park. If we played a bit of route one or more crosses with a Gueye type figure in and around the box, the defenders would have to think more. In his early days he put himself about and was a physical presence as time grew on and his confidence lowered this impacted his style of play as well as him coming on for the last 8 minutes being told to press the centre backs. This is why we never saw the best of him.

I’m glad you’re not the coach.

To be fair they did say that when he came in recently he did a good job especially against Coventry. Van Hecke was a bit raw to start with until he got a run of  games and ended up player of the season.
My glass is half full on this one if he gets a run of games.

Everton fans are crying out for an attacking right back. Alebiosu would be perfect. I reckon the lad could step up to that level. I was only thinking the other day that he reminds me of Notts Forest and Englands Viv Anderson in his running style. Not a bad role model. I wouldn’t take a penny under £10 million for him.

Alebiosu is a very good championship player and has done a great job for us.

I don’t want to be overly negative about him , but he’s very 1 dimensional in terms of his attacking play. Some of his crossing is dreadful, he must ‘cross’ into the crowd at least once a game. Defensively good, quick and strong albeit against a much lower quality player in the championship.

Every chance he can improve under better coaches etc but he’s miles off a premier league starter IMO.

Well you must have an idea as you wrote it lol

but let’s Judge as to whether or not we are going to blow the majority of our budget on a 17 year old for the u21s. Let’s see if that exclusive comes to fruition. If so il openly apologise

Agreed it would be a massive massive risk for Everton to pay x amount for a player who’s been decent but not mind blowing and only for half a season. Unless they see him as their future rb and want him and maybe loan back or something

Who's the 17 year old were signing?

I liked the YouTube reels of that Pululu from Poland and Zine from Greece in the summer, are they still available?

According to roversxtra we are in talks to sign axel bronner

I'm not exactly enamoured with our new players but I will disagree with you a little bit. Alebiosu to me seems to be able to get some kind of cross away in any position on the right, some that he had no right to do so.

Not every one is perfect, but none of the rest of the squad seem capable and even on the occasions all ball does go into the box they've all been seemingly trained not to get in there to anticipate the ball in.

In a league where his team actually know where to attack he could potentially thrive, though I'd expect him to take some time to acclimitise.

Looking at fotmob he's a 17 year old 5ft 7 midfielder who does a discount version of Tronstad in a much worse league

Wiki says he's tiny and no goals in 18 games.  Seems just what we need 🤔

Literally looks about 12 on the photos of him on the Internet.

I again struggle to see why we'd pay to take a punt on this guy but won't even give Tyjon an opportunity.

I have no idea why we constantly hound out any possible sources of information to the point that very few of the actual ‘ITK’ guys even post at all because they can’t be arsed getting the second degree. Sure, have questionable motives, but honestly I’d rather be entertained by a crap transfer rumour (in the transfer thread) than have to watch Dave from Lower Darwen, have yet another messageboard meltdown.

Yeah, agree with this.

A couple of years ago, I was getting some really solid, geniune info from a very good source.
Even shared what the pink kit design a couple of months before the first image of it, as a specific example.

But whenever I shared the info I got, I just got this exact attitude, to the point where I just stopped sharing it.

I do appreciate that some attention seeking whoppers spoil it for everyone, but some people do have legitimate inside info.
