The backstory, from what I hear is...a group of Zwolle ultras have formed a friendship with a group of Rovers fans who call themselves "Blackburn Youth". The latter have been over to Holland to watch Zwolle with their new Dutch pals and vice versa.

It seems like the Zwolle fans might be picking the Burnley and Preston games to attend as they expect things to 'get tasty'. It's not like that in reality though, which is obviously a good thing.

Below is footage from this linkup at Ewood last season, when the Zwolle fans were in the corner of the Riverside near the Darwen End. I can see why the police were wary last night:

Same thing will happen in a few months time when they start getting in a lather about coming here.

They'll be delighted at having to pay £33 in the lower and £38 in the middle of the upper tier i'm sure.

Great view of Gudjohnsen’s goal. That wasn’t an easy chance by any means. It would have been easy to hit the keeper with that. A good view of the Gueye header as well. How did he get that so wrong ? Alebiosu hung that ball up a treat, right where he wanted it.

I know he's the scapegoat on here and absolutely hated, but that chance there (and the penalty) is why I'd be giving Gueye more minutes.

He's a chaos engine - he makes things happen when he's on the pitch (some good, some bad). The players around him simply have to be ready to capitalise on it.

I like the lad, some times things happen when he comes on. Having said that he should have hit the target. If that’d have been at the other end we’d all be saying what a good clearing header that was.

All over X now they are desperately trying to flip the narrative that it means more to us, than it does to them.

They've been desperately trying to force this rivalry for YEARS, spent all week bigging up their chances and have now retreated into their shells because they've lost. Many are now throwing the ridiculous line out that we celebrated too much.

Absolutely insufferable fanbase. They wanted the rivalry but only when it suits them, it seems.

It was a good move - you can either head for goal or head the ball back into the danger area.
