Cos its my opinion and I stand by that. Ipswich abandonment was later this was 20 mins sooner and only getting worse. The pitch from start the second half looked very wet and drainage not working properly.

Also I dont need your video, I was at the game and you could see it getting worse and worse.

Why do you always have the opposite opinion of everyone else🤣

You're opinion is completely your own i just find it hilarious fair play for standing by your opinion but it is funny lol

I completely agree that had yesterday got to 77 minutes like the Ipswich game it would have been even worse. The rain was incessant for the next hour or two.

But you clearly do need the video as, at the point of abandonment, the amount of surface water visible against Ipswich and coming up from the movement of the ball was worse than yesterday. You can  say “yeah but it’s my opinion”, but the amount of surface water is factual rather than opinion and the pictures prove you are wrong.

How is my opinion different to others when we said yesterday's pitch conditions were unplayable? It is.

The Ipswich game abandonment was later in the game then this one

I think moving forward if it is raining and the ball shows any sign of impaired movement on the surface of the pitch the match referee is going to be heading for the tunnel in the full knowledge it's not going to improve.

The referee went down the tunnel as he knew what was coming. At the point of postponement against Ipswich the conditions were significantly worse. The minute the referee saw the ball being held by water he was pulling it as he knew the outcome. We’ve made a rod for our own back by having a pitch with inadequate drainage and until it is sorted properly will come back to haunt us time and again.

Precedent has been set and upheld so teams know of its pissing down and you’re losing at Ewood find the wet patches

ST holders will get in for free.

As with the Ipswich one the order will come from above to cover costs so including Weds fans there'll be about 3 thousand who'll actually 'buy' tickets.

Free entry for all won't even come into it they'll think well the turnout will be more of less the same overall if we charge something or not.

Presuming this won't be played inbetween the Portsmouth and Milwall game this side of Christmas, it seems like the next free midweek is w/c 26th January, or failing that w/c 2nd February.

Although there are no games scheduled w/c 5th & 12th January I believe clubs have to keep both free incase TV wants to show there club in the FA Cup on either the Thursday or the following Monday night that weekend.

I don't understand why you're wasting effort trying to argue which pitch was worst, the Ipswich one or the one yesterday.

The fact remains that both pitches were unplayable, and people with far more knowledge than the likes of you or I made those calls.

The fact also remains that it's our so-called owners and execs who are responsible for these embarassments. Energy would be better spent directing ire in that direction.

Anything official from the club yet on the postponement, the pitch etc?

Nothing yet from the Head of Operations, Head Coach, Head of Football Operations, Head of Football Administration, Chief Operating Officer, Head of Media and Communications and Chief Executive Officer – oh, no, not the last one, we haven’t got one.

He's trying to justify his original opinion that the Ipswich game should have finished and his attributing of  the blame on the ref and Mckenna  despite clearly being wrong.

Especially in the light of the latest postponement.

So free, out of principal and understanding the fans.

Will never happen with this lot. Take everything from us and give us fevk all in return I don't know why we bother

You clearly can’t, if your memory is making you disagree with a fact.

Actually, opinions do need justifying. That’s how you gain or lose credibility.

Oh well Mike. Dont worry about it

The Ewood brain trust will have had their heads together coming up with an official party line and appropriate direction for the blame to be passed.

My money is on it being Waggott’s fault for stitching the pitch prior to last season.

I can’t believe any of our fans are calling for a points deduction. Not only do we need as many points as we can get, why would anyone think this would remotely bother anyone at the club apart from us fans? The accumulation of points on the pitch is far from the top of the clubs list of priorities.

If he was given a choice between a 10 point deduction and a £100,000 fine, which do you think Suhail would opt for? It wouldn’t be the same choice you’d make.

I know.....

By that way of thinking we can expect J-Lo to rock up for one in the coming weeks.

I mean, look, I've got nothing against Bucko... but the highlight of his time here was probably when he bounced the ball off that bloke's head and got sent off for it. Makes about as much sense as Gordon Greer being included in a "Rovers Legends" team.
