mahktars absence today is telling us all he won`t be here in january, apart from a brief spell last season when he looked like a half decent centre forward,he`s been a poor signing, this season he`s overweight and and unfit

Who the hell is going to buy Gueye ?

Part of me does wonder how Leonard would do in Gudjonson's role. The 352 really helps a non physical striker, and Leonard never got the luxury of playing in a two unfortunately.

Id we were still in 4231 i think Gudjonsen would really struggle.

Leonard got into good positions, but he was a poor finisher. He'd definitely play better in a front 2 though.

I do wonder if they just let him go because his back can't be trusted though.

Confidence player who's been completely mismanaged by Ismael.

He'll be off in the January transfer window - both sides will want it to happen.

Just seen Millwall have -6 goal difference. You have to go all the way down to Portsmouth in 21st to find a team with worse GD (Swansea in 19th also have -6). Bizarre that they are somehow 6th.

Baradji beginning to “open his legs and show his class.”

Where I'm from class is more associated with keeping one's legs closed.

He hasnt been mismanaged. Hes just really bad.

I remember after the away game at Stockport in the cup, thinking surely Gueye can't be this bad, I was wrong.

No fan of Ismael but I think he got it right today.

Was concerned when saw Litherland on the team sheet that he would be in the back 3, but thought the decision to play him wing back was a good one, protected him and kept Miller where he is most comfortable. He had a great game for his debut too i thought.

I'm not sure about Millers football ability but I thought he was an absolute warrior today, got battered all over the pitch but kept on getting back up and asking for more. Hard as nails and a few more performances like that will have him as an Ewood favourite.

Ohashi and Tronstad were also very good I thought, with Cantwell showing some lovely touches as the game went on. Also good to see Pickering, nothing spectacular but defended when he had to and used the ball well when in possession.

A few around me were moaning about the second half being terrible but with out home form/record it was exactly as it needed to be for me, kill the game and see out the win.

Enjoyable stuff.

I was!

At the primary school I went to, even though most of the boys played football, I cannot remember anyone saying they supported a particular club. I didn't start supporting the Rovers until I was 10, and that was only because my mum took me.

You're not getting the reference.

Infamous Freudian slip from error prone former sports commentator David Coleman who said that about a 400m runner.

(Alberto Juantorena from Cuba was it?)

A dreadful footballer who despite having all the attributes is either nowhere near committed enough or intelligent enough to see the opportunity that’s fallen into his lap. I can’t wait to see the back of him.

Tronstad is a difference maker in that midfield. Huge player who will be missed massively next season.

Would be a huge statement if we tie him up to a new deal.

He puts the ball in the net more often than anyone else. That's his game, getting into the right place at the right time and after a rough start he's showing he can be a good poacher at this level.

Its on the rest of the team to provide good enough service when you have a poacher like that in the side.

He wins quite a few headers as well, but disappears for long stints as well. Fortunately Ohashi works his socks off for this team or else there's no chance we play two up front.

Pratt (in particular) and Litherland have excelled since coming in.

Can't understand why Academy lads don't get their chance first, as opposed to signing a load of dross from obscure European Leagues then only bringing in Academy lads if there's an injury crisis/suspensions/international call ups etc.

It's because certain people at the club are in bed with the agents representing the dross
