I am getting a feeling that we did better without Cantwell than with him results based? I know we have some stattos on here, am I completely wrong?

Not a lot of difference when Cantwell plays or not. Tronstad is more noticeable.

Thanks for that, appreciate it. I wondered when watching today if Cantwell was over inflated in my head, we seemed to do okay results wise when he was missing from my memory. The stats certainly do appear to not have him as a game changer.

For me, the best thing is that Tronstad agrees a deal for somebody for next season so his future is sorted for him and his family, and he can give his all for Rovers until the end of the season.

We've lost Gudjonson and Alebiosu since he came back, which obviously hasn't helped .

Morishita has been really missed for the last 2 as well.

I'm all for questioning our medical department; however, what needs serious questioning (for instance, from the BBC) is Ismael and Gestede, who decided to get rid of proven championship players and replace them with players not used to the intensity of the league.

When you start picking up injuries, you will have to rely on academy players, who are also not used to the intensity. And then there is no stopping the slippery slope that was self-inflicted.

Ismael receives far, far too little stick for being aligned to this project. I have no other word to describe this than disgraceful.

100% correct !

Just seen McFadz has been sent off for Chesterfield. He'd be our best CH if he was still here.

So would Hyam , whoever agreed that sale should be sacked !

Make no mistake, this is the lowest point of the entire wretched Venky’s ownership.

Miller might be the worst player we have with the ball, what on earth was the criteria when they picked him?

Connections to Steve Kean and Adam Owen. Gestede/Pasha happy to play along. I am sure someone benefitted along the way

Tronstad mom? Crikey. He has been fantastic for us in the past - Rev knows it really 😉 but today his body language said it all for me about where the club is at. Others too were at it –throwing arms, pointing, petulant fouls, huffing and puffing.

Currently leading the BRFCS poll so make sure you vote 😆

Not wanting to have a go, but have you only just sussed that out?

Assume Litherland & Hedges injured

                                Toth

          O'Riordan   Atcheson   Pratt

Miller    Baradji    Tronstad    Cantwell    Powell

                     Joseph    Ohashi

Miller not the best choice at wing back, but we completely lack wide options, Ribeiro on the wing would be madness

I think it would be incredibly risky to drop McLoughlin and play a back 3 entirely of youngsters whereby O'Riordan would be the most experienced yet has barely played at this level.

McLoughlin is no great shakes, but with that level of experience in the back 3 I think they'd be far too error prone. His experience would help keep the shape better and have a better sense of where to sniff out danger.

God we are in dire straits that we are even discussing this.

Just fed up of McLoughlin to be honest, opening goal today down to a combo of him and Pears

I've been fed up of him for a while.

An incredibly poor player who Hull were happy to let go whilst in the middle of a transfer ban.

he`s very slow and miller is never a right back/wing back,id`e drop mcloughlin, put miller in his place and put the young lads either side of him, deffo time to give mcloughlin a rest

Issue with that is that with Litherland out for a month +, and Alebiosu away, there is nobody to play RWB, so Miller likely to start there

Edit - TGH I suppose, but I am as fed up with him as I am with McLoughlin

The only silver lining to today is that VI has an absolute cast iron reason to bin off Pears and bring Toth back. Yet somehow I wouldn't be at all surprised if he doesn't!

The cynic in me , says Toth will be leaving asap !

Well we can be sure that Rovers wont tie him down to a nice new contract & pay rise, so than means he will be sold within the next 6 months or so

Make no mistake, this is the lowest point of the entire wretched Venky’s ownership. Even in the Kean/Anderson days there were at least some people at the club with the right intentions. These are now practically non-existent.

The old argument of “hardworking staff behind the scenes” is dead. They have either been forced out already or are so scared of being so that they are beaten into submission. There might be the odd one, but by and large Suhail has created a culture of fear. The people with the most power at the club - Suhail, Gestede, Yasir Sufi - all have their own agendas, none of which are about a successful football club.

We’ve got a poor manager who I hope does his usually trick of giving up when the going gets tough. And do we have a single player who ticks all these three boxes: Likeable, up to standard, resilient enough to play a full season?

It’s little wonder apathy has completely taken hold, but we really need to get angry. It’s harder and harder to keep caring, but let’s keep our hatred for those responsible burning. Now is the time to make a stand by whatever means we can.

Boycott all games, not just one.

special mention to henrikson today, who managed to get through 90 minutes without actually going near the ball, that lad is so lacking in ability it`s cruel to see him out there

It was impressive to say the least. Atrocious signing.

Not going to happen unless they stop paying players or HMRC. If we can halve the home weekend attendance for Watford it would be a start.

axel, deneve and sidnei must surely have been agents on the phone offering them to us,in desperation for bodies we`ve agreed to take them, there clearly has`nt been any scouting going on,though i was hopeful for henrikson,of the three i thought he`d be ok,he had a decent record in sweden,it was clear from the off that deneve and sidnei were shite
