I just think the players will think they can just stroll by comfortably in this one, and it'll be their undoing. Wouldn't be at all surprised if they find themselves 1 or 2 nil down at half time due to poor attitude and application.

With Jonty in charge tomorrow, think he may shake things up a bit

Confidence has gone up a notch following Ismael's departure.

I'd like to think Johnno knows whats at stake for this one and will get them fired up.

This is the sort of game where your captain rallies the lads and they come up with a big performance after the manager has gone. A Travis type.

Step forward Todd Cantwell 🫣

A chance to turn it on its head, a win here and a new manager could be enough to save us

If you read any threads about him on Watford or WBA forums, you'll discover the sub thing is pure Ismael.

Tends to happen here though these days with regularity despite whose in the technical area but yes he took it to extremes.

Whoever comes in here has the number 1 remit of getting mins into as many as possible to increase vale.

I went to West Brom last season after Eustace walked and witnessed the one and only episode of the Big Mak show.

I think we will win tomorrow now in a similar fashion, couple of goals and players geeing up the Blackburn end and beating their chests and all the rest of it. Then we'll appoint another Venky special and results will go back to normal at Carrow Road.

Bloody Rovers ticketing system wont allow me to buy a ticket for this - I've been around the loop seven times so far on different devices, but it logs me out and empties my basket of the selected seat every time. I dont have the time to get to the ticket office, so it looks like someone at Ewood wants me to sit this one out. Bonkers.

I tried to buy tickets on Saturday evening. The link on the website for the Sheffield Wednesday game took you to a page that said this event had happened in the past - and you couldn't buy tickets. Decided not to bother trying again.

An absolute shambles of a club.

I experienced similar when trying to book tickets.

Ii apoears the 'fix' they have applied to allow us to re-book tickets for free, has affected the whole system.

System freezes, error messages only allowing me to buy 1 ticket when originally bought 4, etc etc.

Took me an hour last night, and even then I ended up with only one ticket.

And of course our non-league admin set up means the ticket office is totally closed on a Monday before a Tues night match, so no reply to my email or call.

So, we'll have less on than for the pre-xmas fixture. Most won't want to go the extra mile to get (even free) tickets to a game they'd really rather not be at.

We'll be there, one way or another, but I was confident of a win before VI's dismissal, but not sure now, though always hopeful.

Pitiful commercial experience of our ripped apart off the field set-up...😣

Alebyosu trained today and available for selection tomorrow according to the LT.

Logging onto Rovers TV is a high tension 5 minutes these days usually involving a no match being screened interlude then being told to buy a subscription (I have a season sub) before getting onto the match screen...

Presumably there has been a press conference then. If so was there any indication who took it?

Finally managed to get the ticketing system to accept my dosh, so it should be 7,801 at least. I think there might be a bit of a (literal) groundswell of support, in the short term at least, and perhaps a little optimism that brighter times are ahead. Let's face it, there wasn't much chance of it getting much bleaker! Or was there? Will need to sleep on the news before penning a prediction. Watch ths space eh?
