  1. Past hour
  2. Well, it looks like it IS his job i.e. to take us down...
  3. Going to this as I have never been to the Liberty. Still tempted to find a good pub and just stay in there in lieu.
  4. And Rudy still thinks he’s nailing the job
  5. The manager is just another name in an ever growing list of "if he was at a normal club would he still have a job". We are struggling with numbers but this guy isn’t helping things either!
  6. If we don’t get a goal scorer then there’s a fair chance we are down. If we get one we’ve got a fighting chance of scraping survival.
  7. But what is the point of financial clout if you don’t use it wisely?
  8. I can't even get angry any more. What's the point, it doesn't change anything. I expect it's to be crap. It saves disappointment. We've been run like a joke shop for fifteen years. I think this season yes we're going down. If not this season (and there won't be much in it) then next season. And that would really be it for a long long time. We're may even drop another division after that. Will venues ever for the decent thing and fuck off? Have they ever done anything decent? Bearing on mind you never know who's coming after them, at least of wet got the bastards gone we can start again. But our agency in this situation is precisely zero. Living on hope it's not a good position to be in. I think in the end, they will actually kill the club, given enough time. And even the singles will be sad then, because they'll have no-one left to hate
  9. That Thomas Freddie is doing my nut in on Facebook, not normally one to engage with the nonsense but after another demoralising defeat today I've bitten. Anyone know what his game is?!
  10. You’ve argue your point and then answered it yourself, pretty much like most of us pal.
  11. Even Rudy knows that but he wont admit it to others, including his employer.
  12. I think it's really hard to discuss on the other forum because whenever I've asked a question it's been avoided. Everyone on there is saying why don't I go find an owner to buy Rovers? Like come on, I don't think there's an understanding on workings at Rovers and myself not involved in football finding a buyer. I'd say they're way way more offensive there than on here. Drog personally attacked me when I wasn't being personal.
  13. If we can’t bring in a replacement LWB then we must switch formations and go with aback 4 and bring Pickering or Ribeiro in , De Neve is a fucking liability him and Henricksson are 2 of the worse players I’ve seen in a Rovers shirt … and I’ve seen a few
  14. I don't feel like that to be honest, too many out for me to make that call.
  15. I don’t believe many Rovers fans expected anything other than a defeat today considering the players available and Ipswich’s current form. However, the performance underlined that without winning our more winnable games (rapidly running out) we are going to struggle to reach the magical 50 points or so. Personally I would have shut up shop by playing a 451 formation with players doing nothing other than spoiling the game. Cantwell and Baradji didn’t really fit that tactic.
  16. A penny for the thoughts of a Eustace, Travis, Hyam, Batth, Brittain right now as their clubs compete for promotion/play offs whilst we nosedive towards League One. Almost like we should have fought tooth and nail to keep that lot and build around them rather than ripping it all up and forcing them all out.
  17. Today may well be the tipping point where we realise we are going down.
  18. Ismael was very keen to say that a striker is very much the priority and then we "will see" from there. Seemed quite flippant when directly asked about a left wing back, talking about not being able to replace every injured player. Its a massive issue in the squad, with all 3 available who have been considered there today, discounting Hedges who he admitted might not even be registered. Dion De Neve played!
  19. I tend to agree, but I do think if we had our preferred first eleven out every match we'd probably just about survive. Football doesn't work that way though. You need solid players available to rotate, and we were so utterly decimated in the summer that it is zero surprise to anybody with a modicum of common sense that our form has instantly tanked the moment we needed to call upon those in reserve. Ismael is a poor manager, but the league is full of 'em. If we go down the largest share of responsibility will lay, as always, with our clueless owners and those they employ to "run" the club.
  20. Today
  21. Do not do that. You will have to go into hiding. People may over react at the use of the great man's image. I know what Salman Rushdie felt like now.
  22. Difficult to accept though.
  23. Out of curiosity? How many people are boycotting that the groups know of?
  24. One will have his pick of jobs and the other one won’t. It’s not difficult to understand.
