mark1875 Posted February 28, 2010 Posted February 28, 2010 If all the application forms aren't returned from Rovers fans will the tickets just go on sale to season ticket holders? nobody knows yet. but i would suspect they would go to 'season ticket holders who have attended one away game" on a first come - first serve basis? ive sent mine in already though
yoda Posted March 1, 2010 Posted March 1, 2010 from the LT http://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/5034167.Burnley_told_to_pay_Manchester_United___500k_for_Eckersley/ Hope agent Kilby has already spent the parachute money. I like the bit at the end that says it is a good bit of bis' for the dingles, not played all season!
LeChuck Posted March 1, 2010 Posted March 1, 2010 Whatever happened to that 'worldie' Nicko was creaming himself over during the summer? Guerrero was it? Is he still there? Doesn't seem like Nimani is playing either.
Hughesy Posted March 1, 2010 Posted March 1, 2010 As soon as Laws came in, he sent that kid off - said he didnt fit into a relegation battle etc
LeChuck Posted March 1, 2010 Posted March 1, 2010 Played the new Monkey Island yet LeChuck? I was up to the second to last chapter (I think, the one in the court room) when I bought myself a PS3 and I haven't been back to it since. I'll probably have to start that whole chapter again because I've completely forgotten what was going on. I was enjoying it, although it is quite a lot easier than all the other games. I think because of the nature of the chapter styles, the puzzles have to be shorter, with you carrying less items. Considering it's not a LA production I'm impressed though. How are you finding it?
Baz Posted March 1, 2010 Posted March 1, 2010 Anyone know if any of the coaches are leaving from destinations other than Ewood, for those of us who want to go from South Ribble / Chorley area?
only2garners Posted March 2, 2010 Posted March 2, 2010 Anyone know if any of the coaches are leaving from destinations other than Ewood, for those of us who want to go from South Ribble / Chorley area? They aren't any planned at the moment. whether the club would consider running one I don't know, but they would need to have at least a commitment from enough fans to fill a bus.
Ben-2000 Posted March 2, 2010 Posted March 2, 2010 Swansea fans subject to the same travel conditions for their away game at Cardiff LINK
BRFC4EVA Posted March 3, 2010 Posted March 3, 2010 To be fair, im pretty sure games between those two sides have always been 'bubble' matches. As well as Cardiff vs Bristol City matches as well!
leemet Posted March 3, 2010 Posted March 3, 2010 Any one no when they will be taking the money out of peoples accounts for the tickets ? ta lee
only2garners Posted March 3, 2010 Posted March 3, 2010 Any one no when they will be taking the money out of peoples accounts for the tickets ? ta lee I don't know but I presume w/c 15th March when they send the tickets out.
sambo Posted March 3, 2010 Posted March 3, 2010 How is everyone feeling about this? Feel a memorable day at the Turf or a nightmare? Got that dodgy feeling...
Ben-2000 Posted March 3, 2010 Posted March 3, 2010 I'm trying not to think about it yet, if I do like I did before the home game I wont be able to settle for the next 3-4 weeks!
deryck guyler's spoon Posted March 3, 2010 Posted March 3, 2010 How is everyone feeling about this? Feel a memorable day at the Turf or a nightmare? Got that dodgy feeling... Me too. I saw The Dingles live on TV against Chelsea and West Ham. Chelsea s*** themselves and West Ham crumbled. Burnley revel in playing at their little ground with 19000 or so slavering hillbillies screaming down their opponent's ears and come out swinging from the the kick off. Given our apalling away form I'd happilly take a point but I fear that they are due against us. What is worse is that they will probably slip from The Premier League having won the last derby. Many Dingles would be seriously happy with that.
1864roverite Posted March 3, 2010 Posted March 3, 2010 Dont be so damn right pessimistic and think negative about the trip to dingleland. Only 24 days to go or so why be concerned now ? Before then we have other games to be worried about. The day of reckoning is close for all of Burnley, they will think we are ripe for a beating based on our away form whilst we have the golden sword over them. For fans concerned about how they played at City or Chelsea console yourselves by looking how bad they played at home to POMPY, that my fellow Blues says it all. They are shyte with a capital SHYTE
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted March 3, 2010 Posted March 3, 2010 Our team has to be up for this,if we go there with the usual couldn't give a shyte away game mentality then mark my words we will lose for the first time in 30+ years. Shyte or not, they WILL be fired up for that game and we know it!
brightonrover Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 Our team has to be up for this,if we go there with the usual couldn't give a shyte away game mentality then mark my words we will lose for the first time in 30+ years. Shyte or not, they WILL be fired up for that game and we know it! The fact that there's been little Dingle activity on this board shows how unconfident most of their supporters are about the match. We're out of the relegation mire playing with more freedom and they are doomed playing with lead in their boots.
yoda Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 The dingle dream is over, finished, disfigured, all the banjo strings have snapped, plywood ordered for the shop windows, Convincing win for us oooh look sis an aeroplane up in the sky
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 All the Dingles I know are dreading this match. It'll probably backfire and they'll end up nicking it, then.
Hughesy Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 Sam hasnt let us down in any of the games that really matter this season, so I expect he will have the boys fired up for this one too!
deryck guyler's spoon Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 All the Dingles I know are dreading this match. It'll probably backfire and they'll end up nicking it, then. That's what is making me uneasy. I prefer it when The Dingles are their usual selves - gobby and ridiculously over confident.
Ben-2000 Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 To be fair, they didn't seem very confident (unusually) prior to the Ewood game and we still beat them...
roversWASmylife Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 I'll be lucky to find the game anywhere in Helmand! Have to win, they'll get that sinking feeling
deryck guyler's spoon Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 To be fair, they didn't seem very confident (unusually) prior to the Ewood game and we still beat them... Dont you remember all the "Just wait 'til October" posts from a few of the Dingle visitors on here? Surely you read Sam Dingle's posts? I'll be lucky to find the game anywhere in Helmand! That would be pretty much like watching the game in Burnley. Stay safe.
