The amount of money being lost should be no surprise. Revenue has dramatically gone down since relegation and when you add to that all those big earners on the wage bill and all those staff payoffs it's a recipe for disaster.

If you think it's bad now imagine what the financial situation would be if relegation is confirmed.

Mirror article........"Venky's are said to be furious about this latest bill they have got to
pay after their disastrous reign kept on clocking up painful financial
penalties
....."

At last, an Achilles heel. Venky's don't like losing money. In that case, how do we go about hurting their Indian businesses ?

I think the problem here is regardless of how severance clauses ended up in bergs contract , they have zero chance of winning the case against berg .

They will have to cough up just under a million as in his terms of contract .

These pay offs must now be hurting venkys , be that NDAs , sackings , hush money , contract terminations and so on .

I guess over the next couple of months we will see how deep those pockets go

Not so much a matter of deep pockets as it is the length of the arms.

Do Chairman have a right to employment in the UK? In Arizona the top guys are almost always at will. You can fire them for any reason or no reason.

Anyone in Arizona, right to work state. Which always confused me. Right to work summed up means you can be fired at any time for anything or nothing at all. SOmetimes these yanks just seem to have things all bassakwards

Sounds like Tory party dogma here - right wingers are the same the world over it seems. This lot here are trying to turn back every piece of legislation that workers have fought for over the past 150 years. It's also a principal reason why they want Britain out of the EU because the EU protects workers from people like the Tories and those in Arizona. I don't know how you stand it over there - come home lad.

So to recap

Dailymail say Shaw was sent home for messing up Bergs contract

Rovers say ALL reports are untrue and Shaw is still very much with the club

So fans (in the face of all the countless other false reports over the last two years) still cling onto the original tale and we are now up to 11 pages

And Nixon writes his own abiguous version saying the club are meerly looking into Bergs contract and mentions noting about Shaw

Quote from Nixon's article in the mirror-

"Venkys are losing an estimated £2m a month"

Estimated on this flipping messageboard Nixon!

Well it's good to see your still reading the discussions Alan. There is a certain irony in you quoting philipl's estimated monthly loss figure, in an article where you refer to us a 'calamity club'.

Anytime you feel like posting an apology for refering to people on here as 'conspiracy theorists'...

Posting would mean him coming back. After sucking up to the Fat Controller and becoming his PR machine after just one month of the venkymobs reign Nixon can @#/? off and not darken our doors again.

Can we not do a HIGNFY and post an image of tub of lard somewhere lest we forget.

The LT state that Shaw WAS sent home..

"The former Preston North End chief executive was sent home on Wednesday after being issued with a letter from the club’s owners."

So it appears that there is definitely something going on despite the statement from the club.

Which comes as no surprise.

Why do they even bother issuing a Comical Ali like statement?

Not fooling anyone.

I really admire Bowyer. Every time he's interviewed his words illustrate his frustration about the way the Club's run.

No surprise that a club with boardroom in disarray is in a chaotic state on the pitch too. The odds are all stacked against him and Bowyer will deserve a bonus if he keeps us up.

REG OF THE ROVERS.

RADIOS TALK SPORT SAVAGES ROVERS FANS

Listening to talk sport late on Wednesday evening a Rovers fan Joined the phone in, to bitterly complain about all things Blackburn Rovers.

Presenter Jason Cundy was having none of it, and preceded to lambast the caller and all Rovers supporters in general, saying “they have got what they deserved following the shameful, in his opinion, treatment of Steve Kean. And Rovers supporters deserve nothing less than relegation to Division One. Cundy went on to express his great delight in the Rovers predicament and further saying they are an embarrassment to English Football and at this rate will probably end up in non-league Football and it would serve them right”

Needless to say I tried to get onto the phone in to respond to Jason Cundy’s unfounded remarks. But to no avail. I will however pursue to get onto the programme within the next week. The programme being, Sports Bar running weekdays from 10pm till1am.

For those who don’t know Jason Cundy, also appears on Sky TV from time to time and is also employed by Chelsea TV. Jason Cundy is an ex Chelsea player, and also includes Ipswich Town amongst his playing career and is a Southerner through and through, enough said.

Jason Cundy knows nothing Blackburn Rovers, why should he? He is not on the inside at Blackburn like he is at Chelsea. He is entitled to an opinion but his opinions are ill founded and out of order. He does not realise how Steve Kean, a devious man and proven liar, has in two short years completely ruined and annihilated Blackburn Rovers Football Club, aided and abetted by disgraced agent Jerome Anderson and his S.E.M Kentaro Agency.

The trouble with Southerners like Jason Cundy are that they have never forgiven Blackburn Rovers for winning the Premiership in 1995. But that is something they can never take away from us.

Ironically it was a Southerner with a Southern Sports Agency aided and abetted by Kean that ruined the Rovers. And we allowed it to happen. Shame on us.

Reg.

Footnote:

Ex Liverpool and TV pundit Phil Thompson also tweeted Cundy during the programme to comment on Cundy’s remarks. Saying sarcastically that Cundy had unnecessarily savaged the poor Rovers fan. It would seem that everyone wants to kick the Rovers whilst we are down.

The man's a complete bell-end on the wind-up to try and get folk to ring up.

More fool anyone for listening to Talkshite. That's all I can say.

This.

Anyone having a pop at Rovers fans over Kean is way off the mark anyway but the one set of fans that surely cant say anything are Chelsea. We could see at the time potential corruption and the destruction of our club just for the financial benefit of others. They are giving Benitez abuse cos they don't like him and he got the upper hand on them a couple of times.
