matt83 Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 Just landed. If getting the train in and there's a large group of you I'd suggest splitting up as the police were trying to escort one such group somewhere.
booth Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 Fingers crossed we aren't brought back down to Earth today. Preston fans appear to have grown a superiority complex. Reminds me of Burnley fans in the 90's. I hope we stuff them.
Neal Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 Finishing work at 12 and then 4 of us heading over... Well up for this one. Read the LEP yesterday, Grayson is going to attack us so I expect it's going to be an open game... Get it on your BTTS coupon chaps.
ratters Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 Very jealous of all of you going to this one! NHS rather rudely booked the wife in for an op on a Saturday so while you lot enjoy a beer or two and hopefully a proper Rover's performance, I am on dad duty! Have a great time folks. Sing loud and proud Same here. I had earmarked this game at the start of the season as a definite. Low and behold I find out 2 weeks ago that the wife has arranged a girls day out in Leeds and therefore I have the 3 kids today and night. Gutted. Enjoy everyone. COYB.
Ryan Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 Police everywhere already. Pulled us as we got off the train but thankfully none of us are wearing colours so told them we're down for a stag do on Blackpool later. Don't fancy being told what pub we have to go to. As for the game, Rovers to win and btts 9/2.
Backroom DE. Posted November 21, 2015 Backroom Posted November 21, 2015 No match preview for this one?
chaddyrovers Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 Should imagine pubs around the university would let away fans in. Me and some friends are going to the Guild pub near the uni. I only work 2 mins away from there
Backroom Mike E Posted November 21, 2015 Backroom Posted November 21, 2015 Police everywhere already. Ryan Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 You got pulled, eh? Means we got took to one side and had warrant checks done on us. Probably means something different in Lancashire then I'm guessing lol.
Backroom Tom Posted November 21, 2015 Backroom Posted November 21, 2015 Very jealous of the travelling army today hope we are all smiling later Can't wait to see the team
Backroom Tom Posted November 21, 2015 Backroom Posted November 21, 2015 @OneRovers: ROVERS: Steele, Henley, Duffy, Hanley ©, Olsson, Marshall, Evans, Akpan, Conway, Lawrence, Rhodes. No surprises in the personnel - Henley back to right back
JWUpper Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 @OneRovers: ROVERS: Steele, Henley, Duffy, Hanley ©, Olsson, Marshall, Evans, Akpan, Conway, Lawrence, Rhodes.
danger19_80 Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 About as good as we have currently. Square pegs in square holes. Guthrie would get in that MF for me but as he's only just coming back from injury it's understandable.
AllRoverAsia Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 Subs: Raya (GK), Spurr, Kilgallon, Delfouneso, Koita, Taylor, Guthrie.
Backroom DE. Posted November 21, 2015 Backroom Posted November 21, 2015 The team picks itself, really. Glad to see Henley back in position and Marshall higher up the pitch. GB seemed to be punishing Henley for a single mistake - the type of punishment we know he wouldn't hand to his favourites. Fortunately the players will now be on a level playing field with the manager. Hanley and Lowe (when he returns) will need to earn their places in the team, and players like Olsson, Steele and Henley won't be dropped for questionable reasons. Hoping for a good result today to get the Lambert era off the the best possible start.
Waggy76 Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 Not expecting miracles , just let's instill some pride back in the club ..
Cherry Blue Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 Good to see Rovers fans crowding Deepdale.
donnermeat Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 Coaching in the warm up looks good and more professional.
RevidgeBlue Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 Same personnel as employed by Bowyer, let's see if Lambert can spark an immediate improvement.
Ewooduknow Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 Predictable he wouldn't change too much with our form(if not results) not being too bad.
BlooBoy Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 Predictable he wouldn't change too much with our form(if not results) not being too bad. Yep cant make wholesale changes from the off,its a work in progress, patience being the key.
