LewisF Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 He'll wear number 8, previously worn by the legend Fode Koita. Absolute hero
Backroom Tom Posted January 29, 2016 Backroom Posted January 29, 2016 Ole ole ole ole Tony Watt Watt Watt! You Watt? You Watt? You Watt You Watt You Watt? In typical fickle football fan fashion I know next to nothing about this chap but judging by the fact charlton and Cardiff fans are gutted and he's young I'm excited about it. Wears the number 8 shirt
Iceman Posted January 29, 2016 Author Posted January 29, 2016 Ole ole ole ole Tony Watt Watt Watt! You Watt? You Watt? You Watt You Watt You Watt? In typical fickle football fan fashion I know next to nothing about this chap but judging by the fact charlton and Cardiff fans are gutted and he's young I'm excited about it. Wears the number 8 shirt Really now need him to get going quickly. If we can get in that number 10 and a proper left back, then we could seriously have a good 2nd half of the season. Watt ever happens, I hope he does the business for us.
joey_big_nose Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 Lambert obviously knows him , sought him out and talked him into signing for us. Reminiscent of Hughes with Bellamy and Savage. It's nice having a manager who can do things like that.
rovers11 Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 Good news that fee agreed. Basically a way of getting round any further FFP sanctions. Good signing.
Salgado Is Still A Hero Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 Tony Tony Watt, Tony Watt, Tony Tony Watt, na na na na na na na na naa naa naa
Amo Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 Hope he's charged and ready for action. He's the kind of player who hertz teams and should give us the spark we need.
tomphil Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 More positive about this one than any for ages.
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 Sounds like he's got a bit of " Mongrel " about him. We need some for sure. We've been a team of easy to play against soft lads for too long.
frosty Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 Sounds a decent signing. I know we've still got the FA Cup left this season, but I've got one eye on (and my hopes up for!) next season already.
Pedro Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 He'll bring a bit of energy and spark to the side and hopefully light up our front line.
J*B Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 Watt a signing. This is going to get annoying very quick.
jim mk2 Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 Don't know anything about this player but he's got obvious potential and just needs to settle down and cement his place at a club. Hopefully it's with us. Welcome Tony.
ChesterRover Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 I take it he had a very good game or two around the time these posts hit the charlton forums: http://forum.charltonlife.com/discussion/66738/i-love-tony-watt
yoda Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 Is he playing tomorrow, we could give Oxford a real T.Watting
chor808 Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 Grim on this tonight http://forum.charltonlife.com/discussion/71078/watt-to-remain-at-the-valley-ed-off-to-blackburn-loan-apparently/p14
Mike Graham Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 An excellent signing. I just hope he hits the ground (pitch) running. He us physical as well as skilful......just what we need.
AllRoverAsia Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 I think his Parents had a sense of humour and pretty sure of his nickname at School. Good signing and things are looking up. I T. Watt
Iceman Posted January 29, 2016 Author Posted January 29, 2016 That Charlton forum is more depressing than ours lol
windymiller7 Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 I think his Parents had a sense of humour and pretty sure of his nickname at School. Good signing and things are looking up. I T. Watt Strictly speaking its A.Watt but you have to wonder if his Dad had a mischievous streak knowing that Anthony would be shortened to Tony. I'm just a bit disappointed he's not a centre half. Now that would be a powerful centre back pairing - Killa-Watt. (sorry guys, just thought I'd join in on the Electricity puns)
