Blue blood
But if he had said, I was hoping there would have been a freshness to Rovers for the game against Blackpool, but I wasn't surprised we were heavy legged, after a hard week. All in one statement ,it would have been alright? It would have been better - as in made him sound less contradictory - but it raises the question why he hoped for freshness after a heavy week? Surely the hope for freshness is a naive one given the circumstances.

Naïve, but sounds positive, a bit of a platitude.(or as some people call it, Bullsh1t)
Stuart
Naïve, but sounds positive, a bit of a platitude.(or as some people call it, Bullsh1t)He's all about positives. The language he uses in particular.I wouldn't be at all surprised if he was a mentor for Kean. Someone else who thought that thinking happy thoughts would convert into results. Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted July 25, 2016 Moderation Lead Share Posted July 25, 2016 Fitness, heavy legs. Where the f*** is Majiball when we need him. Another warrior that's disappeared. He posted some hardcore porn and in doing so, dug his own grave. He was historically a very good contributor, so it was a shame. He also then tried re-registering with two other accounts, so there's no chance he'll be seen again on here sadly.
Iceman
Fitness, heavy legs. Where the f*** is Majiball when we need him. Another warrior that's disappeared. In the early part of pre season, most players will have heavy legs. It takes time to gradually get up to full fitness, especially when you are involved in games. Short bursts in a training session are different to longer sustained runs during a 90 minute match. Thus its important that we actually play more pre season games over a shorter period. Long training sessions wont held, if we play 1 game every 2 weeks. Had he really got Old Clint on his socks?Only @#/?!

From before the Blackpool game Coyle quoted as hoping there will be a freshness to Rovers for their preseason game with Blackpool. After the game Coyle quoted as saying he wasn't surprised we were heavy legged as had a hard week. Naturally the LET didn't see or challenge this contradiction but it does confirm once again we've a tool in charge who is a master of spin. Steve Kean PR (SEM) helpline, how can I help you!? blueboy3333
And yet the person who pushed him over the edge continues. Unrepentant and still causing bother. Be very careful. Young children saw what was posted. I took screen prints. I've responded in your 'ignore' function thread in Admin. I've also reported this post, which is a first for me. Don't whinge about the ignore function not working to your liking and then goad the person you want to ignore.

sambo
It's annoying people using the Burnley excuse for disliking Coyle and opposing his appointment. I don't like that rabble down the road one bit, but pledging to stay away because we hired a Dingle is small minded and missing the bigger picture. That's not been the prevailing attitude of the board, but I've seen it elsewhere. As many have said, there are far more pertinent reasons to oppose Coyle's appointment - being ex-Burnley isn't one of them. Who wouldn't welcome Dyche with open arms? In my opinion its simply an excuse sambo. Plenty of reasons not to go, but the manager being an ex-dingle isn't one in my book. The manager having a terrible record and telling fibs in his first week in office is though. #venkys out

Him being a Dingle is just another stick he will be beaten with if results go awry. Agreed with the latter points, though. People's priorities are wrong if Coyle being ex-Burnley is a reason to boycott, especially with the other multitude of reasons not to go!
gumboots
But it could just be that folk have gritted their teeth and kept going but the burnley connection is the straw that broke the camels back. Nobody knows what their tipping point will be. For me it was probably losing the option of sitting where I've always sat. My husband was adamant he wasn't getting a ST but I might have been tempted if I'd been allowed to stay where I knew the people around me as i often atrend on my own anyway. If all else had been good, moving seats wouldn't have bothered me but coming as it did along with all the other junk it confirmed my decision not to go. It's trivial, and not the major issue, but it matters because it matters to me.
