Doyen sports , nothing to see here especially with a FA man covering the clubs back and we know the FA are against third party ownership they said so

He's now talking about restructuring in the summer and it being a 'big summer' for the club. Similar things to what Lambert was preaching last season. Always the never never with these lot, then when the time comes for action and the chequebook needs to come out the drawer things go quiet and people lose their jobs and are replaced with another set of people who can talk the talk and who only want to look to the future.

 

Only restructuring this summer will be offloading the Grahams, Conways, Lowes and Evans and replacing with 5k a week cheaper versions.

I suspect that Lowe, Henley, Guthrie will leave plus the 4 loan players. 

We need address certain key areas like Keeper, right back and signing a leader at centre half. Also we need another 2 strikers signing. Dont know why we never look at Matty Taylor who just signed Bristol City. I suspect(know) it will more loans and free transfers in the summer.

Scary and depressing reading. Makes me feel like giving up on football....but Im too old to change and find a new love..

Someone posted this on twitter earlier. This is apparently a list of payments UEFA have made to various clubs in return for player participation in EURO 2016.

Whilst I'm not exactly what you'd describe as a fan of Nixon, his perspective is interesting- especially when you consider his obvious relationships with agents and the managers we've employed. 

I've no intention of defending Nixon or the club, but I find it frustrating to see posters rounded on for bringing actual content to a relevant thread on the forum. Whether that's Chaddy or anyone else.

Can't listen to it yet so can anyone give a brief outline of what Nixon said ?  Was it just passing the buck to Venkys in order to protect his pal/pals ?

I myself have no problem with people bringing relevant content from an external source to a relevant topic on this message board, but when it's Nixon Nixon Nixon all the time it grates on me, I don't follow him on Twitter because I don't care for anything the guy has to say, so it's annoying to see his drivel posted on here by Chaddy all the time. The guy is more than likely speaking out against Venkys just to shift any blame away from his mate "Coyley" it's embarrassing. Just as well, all the talk Nixon did last summer about all these great signings Coyle was going to make, look how that turned out and look at our league position now, I really have no time for the guy.

Nixon speaks the truth about the state of the club. Nothing you can disagree with. 

Says it with a tinge of sadness too. Seems to have genuine feelings for Rovers

Named the three players, had some element of story for 2 of them, called it scandalous. 

Trying to decipher his real thoughts aren't difficult because of the way he refers to the club as "you", as if he has no personal connection to his issue with the business. It becomes obvious that he has been made a fool by the club because we signed one he didn't know of and/or is close to Coyle enough to know Paul Senior has tied his hands- the reference to "finding" the money for Joao was telling.

Only one listen. Currently listenening to the Ribble one with Battersby explaining his investment. He refers to Rovers as us..! Maybe these lads are still the light at the end of the tunnel.

Thought so with Nixon as he's always spoke out like you & us when one of his wee gems has been in the hotseat. It is ALWAYS someone elses fault according to him when that is the case. Long shot but maybe just maybe if he'd lined up a decent defender or two on loan they'd have been pushed through.

Just had a search on Google and could possibly be right, Farsley had a Gibraltar international up to 2015  and played in 6 qualifying matches as of June 2015 when he went to another club.

Regarding Middlesbrough they definitely had no players at the finals, but not sure about qualifiers. Seems a low amount though

They don't want to learn, they have minnions, they are not interested in the good of Blackburn Rovers, better face up to it Chaddy

After Seniors interview claiming they brought no value you believe that?

Truth is Chaddy your suffering from denial (i accept that). You know that club, the 11 you watch? Yes that one or thing is what we all did for years! All we have now are a clear fraud with accountancy practices controllable to the committee of league one.

I for one we hope we continue to plummet, best hope of survival.

And yes i will be there at the end to take what i can and help us re-build again.

He had a point about Venkys but his defence of our excuse for a manager is sickening, why do you swallow it?

None of Coyles targets would improve us, replacing a player whose been at right back with Giles Barnes?

Decent players though that's the point ?

For what it's worth i'm glad they swerved Ba if it was a full deal and not a loan. Not worth the risk right now and smacks of Coyle or someone trying to get another injury prone no one else wants on the books full time. There was no excuse not to get another loan or two in tho  no excuse at all. The agenda though is relegation so window dress with a couple of forwards who you've got for next to nothing to be able to turn around and say but we made some signing whilst the team continues to struggle in the areas badly needed strengthening.

Absolute con job but everything under Venkys always has been and i think even a few of the most blinkered are finally waking up to what we've been preaching for 6 pigging years.

The "major surgery" to which slimeball Senior refers will be the wholesale downgrading of the squad to play in L1 next season assuming administration is avoided in the meantime (let's hope not).

An actually signal of intent by the owners would be attempting to sign Gallagher permanently. Would probably require us breaking our transfer record though. Can't see it happening. What kind of figure would we be looking at,10 million? Obviously irrelevant if we are in league 1
