Huge goal for Everton, and a huge one to nudge Burnley closer to the drop if they can hold out 5 minutes or so

Is it wrong that I punched the air when that went in? All of a sudden Burnley are 4 points off safety, no longer have games in hand and have city next up.

Delighted for Everton but sorry how it will impact Burnley.

The lad who tied himself to the goalpost should be credited with a partial assist.

Good goal too.

Attwell on VAR .... say no more ....

The VARman has become a named celebrity and that suits these limelight seekers just fine.

The whole of English PL and EFL refereeing needs a massive cleanup and independent supervision. It must be stopped from being an old school tie network.

Ministers and the Premier League will be presented with a preferred bid for Chelsea in three weeks time, paving the way for a change in ownership by the end of next month.

United were shocking again tonight, Rangrick played Bruno Fernandes as main 9 striker.

It was will be interesting who they pick to their new manager for next season. I think they will go for Pochettino tbh but they need investment in the playing squad

Chelsea 1-4 Brentford - signing Eriksen turning out to be a masterstroke for Brentford. Has turned what was looking like a perilous situation completely around.

What a story too, Eriksen looks brilliant in the prem, like he never left

Brentford were outstanding yesterday. Watched the full game on Sky last night.

Looks more and more likely Burnley, Watford and Norwich are going down this season to the championship

This time next week we’ll know more. Burnley have Everton at home midweek and Norwich away at the weekend apparently. I’d say they can’t afford to lose either of those two and they must win at least one of them.

I think Burnley owners are in panic mode now. Relegation looks very likely.

Put any promotion challenge need investment in their squad which looks old and loads of players will leave
