Whereas I'm sure I don't understand the focus on Vale.

I think JDT is 'punishing' Gallagher for his performance last week... however that means he has to play Vale. I assume Dolan still isn't fully match fit because even though he's tiny he brings much more to the table.

Same as always. No creativity, 1 shot on goal which turned out to be the only shot on goal, which was a sitter.

Since last January now, struggle to score goals.

We've had our decent defensive half, now strap yourself in for the one where we completely capitulate.

We need pace! Please please can we sign someone with a little urgency & pace.

Must be one of the slowest team ever

Brittain was meant to bring some of that down the right, sadly he's been injured.

Neither Pickering or JRC can get up and down the flanks (both bad athletes) so you're left lacking. A quick #9 would make a world of difference for sure - we're very easy to press because there's just no threat of us playing the ball in behind you.

In fairness wasn't a majority saying the same about Brereton a few years ago?

Yes and he looks like it back to Brereton of old. I would of scored that chance with fluffy slippers on. Let’s face it his head has gone. He’s not score for 3 months!!!!!

I genuinely think that Pickering could be good as a defensive midfielder

He hasn't shown that his passing is anywhere near good enough for that.

His abysmal cross-field excuse for a pass against Rotherham really started the rot, and statistically we have conceded so many recent goals as a result of his positioning and mistakes.

Having said all that, no-one is playing well. I know BD is receiving plaudits, but he is really just going through the motions, albeit in a pleasing way.

Our only hope of staying in the play-off hunt was continuing our brilliant home run, but agent Thomason decided to change a team that had won SIX CONSECUTIVE GAMES.

Since then, we haven't played even remotely well, except at the woeful Norwich, and results have reflected this.

There is currently no hope, as nobody within the squad is playing well, especially our £15m goal machine.

And to top it all, we have closed a quarter of the ground for a game where we will have 17,000+ in attendance.

Any thoughts, club ambassadors?
