roversfan99 Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago He is a prick to be fair. He was when he played against us for both Shrewsbury and Sheffield United. I doubt his opinion is based on where he is in the England pecking order. Wharton has been a bit sloppy at times on the ball. Munoz has been excellent down the right. 1 Quote

It remains to be seen how much the club receives, time will tell. I'm wondering if Rovers benefit from a Palace win today. For all the disappointment with the initial Raya fee, we ended up with more than anyone could have expected. If its either or, then no deal. His value was only going one way. Our desperation led to a crap deal. Quote

Backroom Tom Posted 5 hours ago Backroom Posted 5 hours ago (edited) There’s an expected bias on here, Wharton has been fine enough but lost it a few times in dangerous positions; the way Palace play that’s likely to happen though and in reality it was the perfect club for him to go to As I speak he could have grabbed his first goal, half chance into his mates face and he asks the ref for a penalty - got to love the optimism Edited 5 hours ago by Tom Quote

Anyway, for me any rivalry with Palace is so long ago that a large majority of fans for both teams will have no idea about it. I'll take any club beating one of the the Sky 6 (obvious exceptions aside), especially one with a Rover in the starting 11. So far so good but there's a long way to go. Quote

Recall him having a do at Blackburn End in his Shrewsbury day. Like you say he's a prick. 2 Quote

A few in the Blackburn End were being pricks and a bottle came onto the pitch which he launched back, he’d been giving it Billy big bollocks all game. Just seems a real prick in general though to me Quote
Proudtobeblue&white Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Made up for the lad if this happens. It should have been at Rovers, but we all know why. 5 Quote

It was the same at Barca, they were much better to watch after he went because they became so much more explosive, He's been successful with vast riches but he's changed football for the worse to be sure. 1 Quote
TheFinalCountdown Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago (edited) Delighted for Adam. The first of many. Can never be delighted for Palace though. "Glad all over" haunts me, every time. Edited 4 hours ago by TheFinalCountdown Quote
roverandout Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago I think Wharton should stick with Palace one more season. He gets to play regularly with European football next season 1 Quote
Gutted Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Congratulations to Adam. I’m sure he didn’t go up for the trophy though? Never saw him once after final whistle? Quote
Backroom Tom Posted 4 hours ago Backroom Posted 4 hours ago Where is he? Not seen him in the celebrations Quote
