He’s ‘grinding out’ games because that’s the best way to keep an average team with an average budget up there. How much sparkling football are Millwall and Luton playing?

When he fecks off and we are lumbered with someone from the usual merry go round, we’ll see how ‘not fussed’ some of you are then…

They don’t get it.

The option is JDT, who they aren’t happy with but they freely admit he’s not been backed and with O’Brien and a striker we’d be assured of a play off place. The only manager to have us in the play offs all season, since we went down.

Or option 2, not fussed about him staying. He goes and next season we have Gregg Broughton bringing in the managerial equivalent of George Hirst.

He didn't catch it, he flapped at it and pushed it forwards towards goal. I got that from Sky Sports too and it’s absolutely clear to me! Don't know what else I can say! And he definitely fouled Pears before the ball crossed the line. Ergo.....

Right at the moment it happened that’s what I said. He pushed it towards goal with his hand and then ran with it taking out Pears in the process.

He didn’t handball it into the net but he did use his hand to control it. He saw an opportunity and took it.

Also I’ve seen goals disallowed for far less on the goalie.

I don’t want to see Brereton in a Rovers shirt again for that offside prior to it, combined with standing there doing absolute nothing for their corner.

Cov fan here

It was probably handball - and most Cov fans agree, but I have not seen 1 image that 100% confirms it, and not even sure VAR would have been able to give it as such

We have had really bad decisions go against us this season - even in the game on Wednesday , how Travis didnt walk for a straight red (minimum 2nd yellow) when the ref initially gave the foul to you . And we all feel the ref is against us    .  I can only remember 1 game in my life where I felt the ref was on our side, and that was a lady ref having her first game, who totally gave what ever decision the crowd shouted for

That said, these things are what makes the game such a talking point, and why I hate VAR

yes it probably worked in our favour on wednesday night , but the above decision and the lack of stoppage time by several minutes etc were also poor

That said , happy for you to get to the play offs, so long as we are there with you

Like many have said our defence of the corner Pears should have was shocking. No one took control either that be defenders or keeper. To me  Pears should have demanded a good header of the ball on the front post as all there previous corners came to that area. Once the ball comes in then in the six yard box the keeper should take control and come for the ball. If their keeper comes into contact with Pears in mid air the ref would blow for a foul and hopefully their keeper is injured.

Yes I know its handball but Im afraid its another case of Rovers being bullied. Until we learn to stand up for ourselves then we will always be nearly men.

I knew Brereton was a liability has any Rovers player been offside as much.  Every pass he made went to Coventry.  Watched balls run by him that he could have got with a little hustle.  He has to sit for the run in.

Looks to me like by Tuesday night we will be out of the playoff places for good.  Will struggle to beat ToMo's 8th place finish.  These last 5 or so games we really needed to build a cushion for these last 4 games and we missed the oooortunity.  It's over really..

That statement, if you believe it to be true, would show your lack of football knowledge.

Rovers have a history of upsetting the apple cart at big matches, ye of little faith 2-0 to Rovers.

5. referees have never been so poor, one thing that does piss me off is linesmen never run the likes anymore, they are supposed to be up and down that line in view of the ball but instead they only do half a pitch so they are only responsible for the far side too, if that linesmen on that side was where he should have been for the goal he would have possibly seen the handball to atleast open discussion with the ref, but instead they are just heavily reliant on the ref now, end of the day their woeful performances don’t effect them, they just trot off leaving the fans and players/coaches to dwell on their incompetence… it’s not on yet the authorities just don’t care that the integrity and standards of the game are so far from wenger they should be

In all my 70 years watching football, linesmen have always only run half of the pitch. I don't know quite what you mean.

Just finished watching the whole game on Rovers TV. Why did JDT take off Brittain? Was he injured? When JRC went off Brittain could have moved across and Scotty could have gone into the RB position.
