I will be surprised if he plays 30 Championship games.

Wouldn’t shock me if he’s eaten 30 kebabs like.

Why do people peddle the line that Broughton is blameless in this deal? Also whilst the owners have now landed us in the **** -  twelve months ago pre restrictions I don't see how it could have been them who vetoed the deal, they'd have had to authorise the deal in the first place for it to have reached such an advanced stage.

Why would they sanction the deal in the first place only to veto it a day or two later?. We still haven't been told what went wrong with it either despite the Egg promising he would come clean but in any event as DOF its his responsibility to get deals over the line

If you had to use just one word to some up almost everything the Chicken  Chokers have done in the 13 years they’ve been here it would be. - Why ?

Somebody in your club must have really rated him to give him a 4 year contract on more money than we could afford.
Maybe he’s a player who the back room staff thinks needs developing but will score 30 next season?

We won't have a club next season

We (Stoke) are supposed to be signing him off you today. Schumacher was his manager at Plymouth. Skimming through your comments here is somewhat chastening. What can we expect...?

No idea, mate. We've barely seen the fella on the pitch.

Is it a permanent and is any fee involved?

Not much is my answer to your question, but if teaming up again with your manager gets him interested and fit he may do ok.

In his early glimpses he looked okay but unfit. Then he was injured. Then after that he seemed like he couldn't be bothered, but unfit. And that's it really.

Not sure but I'd imagine it'll be a cheap permanent

There have been times when he's been out of the team with no obvious news on him being injured, so it's possible for at least some portions of his time here it's been less about injury and more that the manager doesn't rate him, doesn't think he's fit enough or a combo of the two meaning he doesn't fit the way we play. It's possible reuniting with Schumacher will sort him out, and if so then he has upside as an attacker.

Simply put, it's tough for any of us to give any serious insight on him as we've rarely seen him play for us.

He may get fit in time for the start of next season.

So you're saying he's an animal in the air with sharp attacking weapons and great staying power? 🙏

A good description. Just not of Ennis

Truth is we can't judge him as an actual player all we can do is ask questions of the whole thing.

No doubt he'll go there and smash it then we'll be asking even more questions but i'll be shocked if his fitness is as bad as its been made out here.

There is more at the root of this one.

How about Anthony Stokes?

Generally look at the squads 2015-2017 time, a load of very odd signings that ended up with us back in the third division for the first time in nearly 40 years… and it doesn’t take a genius to see where this current situation is going to have us ending up.
