Women's World Cup 2023

Great win and a much improved performance.

A good game of football between 2 skilled and competitive teams who kept going until the end.

The Ref? Stats show 4 fouls against the Aussies and 11 against England. In your dreams Ref.

Its maybe a bit of a patronising cliché but every time I watch womens football (just the major international tournaments) Im blown away by how much it has improved. Goals today have been sublime. Loved the little reverse pass for our third.

Technically they are very good. Well coached as well. Becoming professional has improved the women’s game no end. It used to be awful.

It's professional football at World Cup level and the bottom line is we did target Kerr and did it well but she's so good she still scored a cracker and would have got at least 1 more if fully match fit.

They weren't exactly shrinking violets either.

Any criticisms from the Sisters of Sledge should just go down the shit pan.

England were slow to start the tournament but got better throughout. The gulf in class over us was obvious.

The Australian coach looks like a puppet on a string

To be honest, he was lucky to be in the job before the World Cup. He has hardly set the world on fire and was totally out coached last night.
