If anyone can stomach it, can someone watch the replay of the first goal and explain to me what the actual fuck Wahlstedt was doing for the first goal. A traffic cone could have done a better job.

Am I unfair in saying he could have booted it as it seemed such a weak shot? I've seen defenders deliver more powerful passes back to the keeper.

I honestly think I would have saved it.

I'm 71 and have never played as a keeper.

It was way beyond pathetic.

Our manager is not up to it, doing a brilliant job?? Yeah right, we are as fragile as it gets even when we win. He picks a team and hopes for the best and wishes the opposition allow us to play. He can't change a game, sets us up to get hammered time and time again, offers little to no explanation after no show performances and takes zero responsibility. Wake up and stop living in denial. Yes there is bigger problems at Ewood but I have had my fill of this manager and his "philosophy".

At what point do you replace a keeper who is making howler after howler game in and game out, throw in our 3rd choice and show some balls. Wahlstedt needs to be taken out regardless of Pears injury.

The way the team is set up isn't workin, that's on the manager, more fight in players with far lesser ability than our lads. Stop making excuses for the players and manager, Huddersfield did not have a better starting 11 than us today. We are softer than baby shit. Embarrassing.

I don't think I can watch the game again and put myself through that suffering.so going to base my comment on what I saw first time round. Hudds absolutely destroyed our fullbacks and took opportunity to attack the space they left behind. Wether that's down to JDTs tactics or bad decision making from the player it's simply not good enough. Plenty of times we were left chasing back, specially down Brittains side. Is JDT to stubborn to change tactics because it looks as though our system has been worked out. We just don't look as strong down the flanks with certain players out. I would like to hear other people's opinions but since Moran and Siggy have come in I feel these are the areas which is costing us

The problem is that the owners have fucked us. If we don't go to games the club doesn't make money so the club doesn't invest. The owners know this too.

‘Manager’s not up to it’. It’s a bad run of form. We were flying a month ago, that’s the Championship when you have such a small and inexperienced squad.

What else is going to happen, you are going to get these dips with this bunch of players. The solution is to get shut of these disgraceful owners, that ain’t on the horizon so we just have to lump these drop offs.

Yep BigBar is right. The manager sets the team up ,regardless of quality and we are too easy to beat. I remember seeing the Dingles knocking our players over last season, even Preston tub-thumped us. We cannot cope with any physical force whatsoever and its just no good. It happens time and again. If some players lack physical strength then they need to have ability to play a different way but a straight capitulation is not fair on the fans.

I dont care how many players are out injured-drop Brittain and Wahlstedt now and try a more compact system.........show you mean business......Dont think he will though

Quoting me clearly. He's not up to it. When the going gets tough, we fold. Clear to see. He cannot change a game, doesn't have the nous, look at our record when we go behind. Horrendous.

The team has been stripped by the season and I don't think it can be done any further. We have all spoke in depth about this, sad to say but until young Wharton is moved on we will be stuck in this predicament. The little cash we had has been spent on two players who are not ready. It's a massive risk

When did we last sign a player that you thought - “ Bloody helll, he’s a rough handful, I wouldn’t  fancy my chances going up against him ! “ ?

He obviously is up to it as his record has shown over 18 months. We have bang average players made up of poor signings, loans and academy lads.

The manager is not the issue here.

At the moment, the manager is one of many issues.

We will have to wait and see, All eyes are on him, I had to watch via the Hudds channel and they mentioned JDTs presence a few times saying his body language does not look good

Been a long time 🤣 but I watched Sorba today and thought to myself where has this performance come from. He loved every minute he played today

He’s asking the current squad of players to play in a way that highlights their weaknesses and not their strengths. The buck stops at his door I’m afraid.

Out of interest what do you think are the strengths of the current squad.

With the players on the bench today, how would you have changed things, and why would that have made a difference? As frustrated as I am I find it hard to look past a bare bones, exhausted squad.

I like JDT, but I think he now needs to realize his playing style doesn't work unless our starting 11 and bench are 100% fit and up for the intensity it requires. The championship with its grueling schedule just isn't the place for it, certainly not with Rovers' lack of squad depth. There has to be a plan B and there clearly isn't.

Absolutely grim today, no two ways about it.
I missed half of the 2nd half (and 2 of their goals), but doesn't sound like I missed anything of any value.

The one very small positive for me was Jake Garrett (again). Thought he looked really good when he came on, must be worth a start in the next game.

Been a fan of Leo in goal, but that first one in particular was right under him - not to mention the 2 x goals against Watford, parried right to their lads.

All of that said, I feel it's harsh to throw JDT under the bus. Yes, he's ultimately responsible, but he's the reason why we're still a couple of wins of the top 6 and not looking downwards, with the squad we have.

It's the way we lost, No fight, No heart, players gave in. Arguing with each other, didn't even speak to each other the last ten minutes. Embarrassing, They did not look like themselves exhausted or not. Looked like a team who's gave up on the manager.

For the record I didn't mean literally making changes as in substitutions but that is part of the problem. I meant making changes to the tactics or system mid game. I often think during our games after 20 mins or so "there right back is slow, should get at him more" or "there keeper is dodgy, fling a few crosses in or take a few shots and test him" then I just watch minute after minute of Hyam and Carter pass it back and forth and slow ponderous build up play to little affect.

Go 1-0 down and I think ok let's change it up a bit...nope. Rinse and repeat. He doesn't seem to have any ability to change a game, like zero.

Another one for people to try and defend but I don't buy this "players are exhausted" stuff either, it's December not February or March. The only player I see run himself into the ground is Sammie Szmodics. The rest are in cruise control playing tippy tappy stuff and not tracking runners or scrapping tooth and nail.
