Could see Hyam mouthing at the 4th official on his way off "every fucking foul man, every foul" and he is dead right, he has blown for everything and dished out some pathetic yellow cards. Hyams first was never a yellow. Middle of the park the lad looked to have miscontrolled it and they collided. Never a yellow.

If you can't defend you are not going anywhere as a club or a manager. Think we have to figure out how to be solid. If JDT is not interested in that then we need a change unfortunately. This is ridiculous.

The ref has fucked us though. Hyam is one of our solid players when he is fit. Now we have to see off this game without him and the next game too. Ffs

As I said - no way was this staying 11 v 11 with the ref handing out cards (sadly only to us) like confetti.

We've clearly upset the EFL somehow 'cos we've had bent refs for months.

The way it is, you’d expect us to be lodging the complaints regularly and I wonder if The Saddest WhatsApp Group Chat In The World (EFL match officials) has decided they’ll take the piss.

Thoroughly meaningless to be apologised to after the fact and with the standard of referees visible, it’s not like the FA/EFL have a production line of capable ones ready to step in.
