I don't see how even with another person in charge we survive a real relegation fight. You need grit and experience to grind out results, not 20 year olds and tippy tappy football that they'll insist on for "the model".

Exactly. Their model is at complete odds with their budget, or lack of.

In the time since they decided on this 'model', Luton Town have been promoted from League One, promoted from the Championship, and are currently in 16th in the Prem and going hell for leather with Newcastle in an instant classic.

All while spending far less money and having even less income to play with.

Luton had been building steadily for years. When they were promoted they had two good centre forwards and a settled team.

In short, they weren’t dickheads.
