Just be calm and collective about it and find the best solution to the situation.. I dont agree with sacking Cleverley by Watford owner and given more sales and little investment in the summer surely their is staying up and nothing more Quote

I dont agree with sacking Cleverley by Watford owner and given more sales and little investment in the summer surely their is staying up and nothing more But why did it make you actively want them to be relegated? Youve not given a reason why you feel strongly enough not just to agree or disagree with the decision from a neutral perspective, but to want them to be relegated. "And nothing more." Should teams not try and overachieve and just settle for just getting by, even if their current manager has overseen the worst form in the entire league over the second half of the ssason? If Ismael has us in 18th or 19th next season, the guff coming from inside the club keeps saying thats where wre rank financially. So surely his job would be safe as thats as we can expect. 1 Quote

Are Watford going to over achieved when they constantly keep sacking head coach all the time. Plus selling their only bit quality again this summer from reports. Why not back Cleverly and given him some funds. I'm sure they will be sacking another head coach in 6 months time. Maybe the penny will drop and they actually build something and give a head coach time to build 11 hours ago, roversfan99 said: If Ismael has us in 18th or 19th next season, the guff coming from inside the club keeps saying thats where wre rank financially. JHRover Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago Tie over in Bristol. I think the lesson is that securing a top 6 position is not the holy grail as some seem to think it is. Getting through the play-offs is the successful part. Within a matter of 4-5 days of finishing the regular season it can be effectively over. 4 Quote

Everyone below 4th is very average at best, and even Sunderland had an atrocious end to the season. Unless Sheff Utd lose their nerve in the final (which can certainly happen) the playoffs are theirs for the taking. It'll be interesting to see if Sunderland can start playing properly again now that they have a reason to. Coventry only finished the season one point ahead of Bristol City, but if they beat Sunderland over two legs then they'll go into the final with the wind in their sails and anything can happen in a one off game. 1 Quote
MarkBRFC Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago (edited) Play offs going as expected after one game. With the squad Sheffield Utd have you would fancy them against anyone from 4th down over two games, we would have probably gone a similar way to Bristol last night had we qualified. As said above though, a one off game at Wembley is different, you could easily see Cov beating Sheffield Utd 1-0 or something. Edited 8 hours ago by MarkBRFC Quote
