He has been on the end of some awful challenges too which put him out. There were two at Leeds and an awful one for which a Luton player was sent off. He was on the receiving end of a couple yesterday.

Yes, great technique. He kept Kaminski guessing. A real strikers goal. Pair him with a Mike Newall and he’d score plenty. He’s had next to no service all season.

He's an excellent player and visibly gives his all every game which is great to see. From his first game with us he showed quality above that of most of our squad, and his finishing stands out (Bristol game especially). Injured disrupted season but he is probably a 15 goal championship striker if we can actually give him service...

very tidy football is yuki,as a 2nd striker with a free roll,he`d be even better,unfortunately we don`t play that way

I think Ohashi is better and more suited at being the actual striker. He leads the press well, he likes playing on the last man (although is offside far too much) and he can finish.

An impressive first season for me, decent goal return and has a nice knack of  being where he needs to be

Some really good strikers goals in that video clip. What’d he be like with more service ? Plus he always gives 100%. A good signing for me.

It's a point worth considering, it's been a very long season for Yuki (albeit with an injury-induced 'rest'). You have to wonder if he might have a better season when he hasn't had to play nearly continuously.

The flipside of that being it's very possible his excellent start with us was down to already being essentially midseason in his match fitness whilst others were barely past playing friendlies. Will be interesting to see how he gets on next year. Been a useful signing for the money, but we do need a top scorer on more goals. Lewis Baker has scored only one less goal this season and he's a midfielder.

I think Ohashi season was very good and expect him to kick on again next season

A very good signing for what we paid, and I think if not for injury he would have gotten into double figures.

Needs to play alongside a target man for me. That's how we will get the best out of him.

Hasn't got the equipment to lead the line.

That’s true but most strikers would benefit from a bit of support.

A good first season for Yuki, no doubts there. He's also improved on aspects of his game that were lacking when he first joined, his first touch and control was pretty horrific when he joined but he's got up to speed with the league and it's improved a lot.

Him getting a proper rest over the summer and a full pre-season with the squad should be good for him. 

What did we pay, like £200k for him? an absolute bargain.
